Warning: Spoilers
The heart that seemed to be missing all of season three and replaced my mean prison rape jokes seems to be back in "My Name is Earl". Once again the show seems to like its own characters again.

In this one, Earl is reminded he kept Kenny from going to cheerleader camp back when they were in school. But then Kenny explains he never wanted to go to cheerleader camp--it was Randy who wanted to go.

Randy of course won't go unless Earl goes, so Earl reluctantly agrees to help represent Camden at cheer-leading camp. There's some funny gags in this (Randy lifts one cheerleader through the ceiling in the team's shabby dorm and she comes back down with plaster and a rat on her head!) as well as the heart "Earl" had back in seasons one and two. Earl sacrifices and comes through for his little brother (including seducing the one eyed head of the cheer-leading camp--she was attacked by a badger years ago in a ill fated cheer-leading incident) and Joy again shows her human side, worried she's losing her son.

Welcome back, Earl. We've missed you.
