As a result of a fight earlier in the day, Col. Richard Finley had received a bleeding cut on his forehead, which Olivia tried to staunch. Later that evening after he resists arrest, Col. Finley's lip is bloodied, but there is no evidence of his recent head wound.
Anton had his notebook in his hand but he puts it in his backpack when Colonel Finley talks to him and he had his backpack closed and on his back when he shot Vincent Beckwith. But when Colonel Finley attacks him and struggles for the gun and after Anton was shot, the notebook was lying next to him.
When Colonel Finley attacks Anton Thibodeaux after he shoots Vincent Beckwith. Anton's hat falls off his head as him and Colonel Finley struggle for the gun and in the next shot. The hat is back on his head. He never had the time to put his hat back on.
