- As Louisa prepares to go back through the mirror, she is caught by Jo's father who wants to know what's going on. Louisa and Royce tell him the entire fantastical story and he is disbelieving - until he sees Louisa go through the mirror. He is unable to go through the mirror himself and when he tells Catherine the story, she doesn't believe him. In 1919, Frid follows Jo to the wharves and watches as she searches for the toxic waste but the drums have been removed. She then sneaks in to visit Nicholas to discuss what to do about the drum she took that was left in the cab. Frid reports to Sir Ivor that he has the last drum and that Nicholas was the one who drove the hansom cab to the wharf. Angry to learn of his young charge's activities, Sir Ivor takes action to prevent Nicholas from escaping again. Meanwhile, the Old Man visits Jade Coigley, with specific instructions.
