John is fed up with being told that he should stay away from Riley so decides to run away with her. He takes her to the town in Mexico he had lived in once. Things go wrong on their first night out when he is recognised; a bit of a fracas ensues and he and Riley end up in the town gaol. When the name John Connor is entered into the police computer two people take an interestÂ… Agent Ellison and Cromartie. Cromartie has already captured Sarah so she goes south too, as do Derek and Cameron who received an emergency call from John. When they all meet up all hell breaks loose as Cromartie shoots up the police station while the others try to save John and Riley; ultimately the tables are turned though and it is Cromartie who is in everybody's sights.
This was a pretty solid episode; I liked how much of the action was shown us from more than one characters point of view; each time we see what happens we understand just what is going on a little better. There was a good amount of excitement; with more proper action than we've seen for some time. The cast did a decent job; it is a pity that it looks as if we might not be seeing any more of Garret Dillahunt, who played Cromartie; although till his body is fully destroyed one can't be certain he won't return! It did seem a little odd that John would take Riley to a place where he might be recognised but everybody makes mistakes and sometimes the plot demands characters don't act with 100% logic.
