Sex & Nudity

  • Two cops burst in on a man and woman having sex and throw the man off of her. There's plenty of moaning, but the scene is very quick and only the man's buttocks are seen briefly. Not too graphic.
  • A man helps a woman urinate, and then wipes for her. No nudity but kinda graphic.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is brutalized by being thrown around a room and punched a few times, some blood is seen. He then has his head thrown through a glass pet cage and is bitten a few times by the venomous snake inside, causing him to convulse from the poison.
  • A few people are shot, mostly non-fatally, with the living victim seen with blood all over his shirt.
  • A man is found after having been shot a few times, lots of blood is all over him, and he dies of blood loss as a result.

Profanity

  • God's name is repeatedly abused.
  • Several uses of sh**
  • A few uses of bitch, damn, ass, and prick.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Cigarettes are smoked.
  • A man snorts white powder.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This is a very emotional episode, with plenty of loose ends tied up and characters receiving a great deal of punishment for their actions.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Shane commits murder-suicide with his family, having given his pregnant wife and son an overdose of painkillers (they look as though they're just sleeping) and shoots himself in the head right as the cops come, some blood staining the wall around him.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Shane's murder-suicide of his own family is very shocking and saddening, and his suicide note trying to absolve them of his crimes and also admitting to overdosing them on painkillers to ensure they died without pain is very emotional.
  • Corinne and her children are sent away to a different house to be away from Vic, this scene can also be pretty tense as she worries that he'll try to keep them together with his newly found immunity.
  • Ronnie is arrested while Vic is given immunity, his reaction to this and his angry rant towards Vic is very emotional.
  • Some have compared Vic's new situation in ICE to being emasculated in pretty much every way, such as how he's banned from using a gun or being on the streets, has to wear a suit and tie every day, and is confined to a depressing desk job, all with the knowledge that he has effectively lost everything, the people's respect, every last friend he ever had, and his family and freedom. A fate well deserved, maybe, but one that nonetheless leads to plenty of emotional scenes.
