A "shriimped" girl at a free outdoors rock concert dies after a small riot occurs. At first it looks like a bean-bag shot to the throat did it, but soon Sid at the crime lab, to his horror, discovers the girl died of radiation. Within minutes, Sid collapses and is rushed to the hospital.
With that dramatic opening, Mac and his team have the clock to fight to figure out what exactly killed this girl and what's the antidote to save Sid, who will die shortly if none is found.
Unfortunately, the rest of the show isn't that great, just a bunch of talk with many terms that only a chemist could understand as one clue leads to another with a couple of other deaths. The eventual person responsible is no surprise, either.
