Bring Black gold back!

Like the title says "Bring it back"!

This show was so good and entertaining. They should bring it back. I know these guys may not still work together and that doesnt matter. We want to see the oil drilling rigs hard working roughnecks!

Everything is drama and overdone

Warning: Spoilers
As someone with experience in this industry this is mostly trash television at it's best. Everything is rush rush rush, little accountability for safety and so much drama it should be on daytime tv.

I've watched a few episodes and the fake timelines are just annoying as heck. There is never only a few days left before "x" happens and the whole project is a bust. Everyone is paid by the hour and it takes as long as it takes.

This type of reality tv makes me wonder how this same creator of Deadlist Catch and Ice Road Truckers just instructs all the cast to create drama so he can have something to film. In truth, there aren't that much that happens.

He's filming 24/7 for weeks, compressing those 200hrs into a 30 minute episode and still repeating scenes a few times.

Black Gold - Bring it back.

This show wasn't going to win any awards, but it was a wonderful 30 minute, mindless, excursion into the oil industry & roughnecks.

Of course, all those handsome hard bodies didn't hurt anything. I really liked Oscar, Peewee, Josh, Cheston. And loved Brandon Watson. All those guys have moved on, but the series can be brought back with any Derrick crew.

The show is the "Deadliest Catch" on land and the Texas badlands make for good TV. The temperature, the danger, stretching the mechanical capabilities of the rig & machinery...but keeping the personal lives included in the work lives made for good TV.
