Cute little lock down/quarantine conversation between two.... friends.

Just a short conversation between Aziraphale and Crowley about lock down, shopping, cake, beverages, alarm clocks, etc. You know, all of the important things in life these days.

A quarantine-centric reunion

The most creative short ever contrived in last year's lockdown. Packed with absolutely stunning and visually pleasing imagery.

An audio special for hardcore fans.

Warning: Spoilers
"Good Omens: Lockdown" is a little short film from 2020, actually released on 1st May 2020 and since then it managed to rack up over 800k views on Youtube where it was uploaded on Terry Pratchett's channel and promoted with the idea that these under four minutes have been made for the 30th anniversary of the release of the original material. More people will watch it though for another reason, namely because it is linked to the successful miniseries from 2019. I did not watch that one, but I must say that this one here also does not get me curious about the miniseries at all, even if it got a really strong reception. Director is Douglas Mackinnon and this is his first career credit, the writer is Neil Gaiman and for him the opposite is true. he has not only worked on said miniseries, but been a prolific writer on many projects for many years in the past. The cast consists of Michael Sheen and David Tennant, both very famous, especially in the UK. Neither English though, one from Wales, the other Scottish. They are only voice actors though this time as we see things and references from the miniseries, but we do not see the actors, which makes me think that this project really could have been done in a day to be honest. I don't think it looks particularly good. What they have to say is also nothing special or really entertaining. You will probably like it more if you have seen (and, even better, appreciated) said miniseries, but I personally don't think one should be required to have seen anything in order to appreciate something else and like, I said, I doubt these 220 seconds will get you really curious about anything linked to this short film, especially the show. Even if you like Sheen and/or Tennant, it doesn't change a lot because I kinda do. At least one of them also goes a bit too much over the top here and there ith the voice acting and does not hit all the right notes. Sometimes less is more. Still, the outcome here is not failure or anything, but also not good enough for a positive recommendation. My suggestion is you skip the watch. Not recommended, although at this running time you cannot really do too much wrong. Still it is just not entertaining enough. Both protagonists have done better over the years. Way better.
