a very well put together episode

I think this episode is very good it grips you i like how CSI NY always end there seasons on something that directly involves the CSI team. the only problem is you know have to wait until the next season almost a year to find out what happens dang it. and cause i live in the UK its gonna take a heck of a long time for the new season to come on and you might have forgotten this storyline before then i would have thought also i think Gary Sinise is a fantastic addition to CSI NY i only watch CSi NY because of him i think his acting skills are superb i loved him in Forest Gump. and Apollo 13 I also have a crush on Anna Belknap although shes like nearly 40 she still looks very cute lol Id love to see a CSI movie that would be coo; like a 2 hour special links all csi's together for example a killer kills 3 bodies in las Vegas and dumps them in a plane and dumps the bodies in the NY lake the team in las Vegas are tracking down 4 missing people while the NY team are trying to solve there murders. mean while the Miami team end up with the fourth body. and Lindsay from the new york team and a little boy are taken hostage by a man in a Freddy Krueger mask.

Great Episode, But I Hate It When They Leave You Hanging
ccthemovieman-11 December 2008
Warning: Spoilers
With about five minutes to go, I was thinking "Boy, I'm glad CSI-New York doesn't do what CSI-Miami likes to do, meaning leave you hanging for months waiting for the next season to see what happens." Wrong.

They did it, too. At the end, it appears our fearless leader "Mac Taylor" (Gary Sinise) is in big trouble. In the last 10-15 seconds, we are delivered with a shocking twist. I admit; I didn't see it coming. I won't say anything more in case someone is reading this and plans on getting the CSI-NY Fourth Season DVD. That's how I watched this, so I have a full year to wait to find out what happened, unless I cheat and look it up on IMDb or elsewhere.

Whatever, I will say this season-ending episode was outstanding. Of course, when you get a top-rate film actor like Elias Koteas in the guest-starring role, it helps. Koteas plays "Joe/Douglas," a very interesting guy who is holding hostages inside a bank and "employs" Mac to come in and prove that he did not shoot the dead man lying in the vault. All sorts of complications ensue and then some neat twists at the end involving "Joe."

This is one of the best episodes of the season, maybe the best.
