- Colonel Mace: [wearing gas mask, holding assault rifle] latest firing stock; what do you think, Doctor?
- The Doctor: [also wearing gas mask] Are you my mummy?
- Donna Noble: [Martha's wearing the doctor's coat] You know that coat, sort of works.
- Martha Jones: I feel like a kid in my Dad's clothes.
- Donna Noble: Oh, well if you're calling him dad you're definitely getting over him.
- The Doctor: [the Tardis is gone] It's the Sontarans; they've taken it. I'm stuck... on Earth like... like an ordinary person. Like a human! How rubbish is that? Sorry, no offense. But come on!
- [pointing a gun at the Doctor, Martha and Donna; shouts hysterically]
- Luke Rattigan: Don't tell anyone what I did! It wasn't my fault! The Sontarans lied to me! They-
- [stops with the Doctor grabbing the gun out of his hands]
- The Doctor: If I see one more gun...
- [tossing it aside]
- [speaking though a video-audio comms link]
- General Staal: Doctor. Breathing your last?
- Colonel Mace: My God, they're like Trolls.
- The Doctor: [in undertone] Yeah, love your bit of diplomacy, thanks.
- [back to Staal]
- The Doctor: So, tell me, General Staal. Since when did you lot become cowards?
- General Staal: [outraged] How... dare you!
- Colonel Mace: [annoyed] Oh, *that's* diplomacy?
- Donna Noble: [talking to the Doctor on a cell phone] What's happened? Where are you?
- The Doctor: Still on Earth; but don't worry. I've got my secret weapon.
- Donna Noble: And what's that?
- The Doctor: You.
- Donna Noble: [rolling her eyes] Somehow that's not making me happy.
- Donna Noble: [on the Sontaran ship; talking softly] There's a door.
- The Doctor: [talking just as soft] There should be a switch on the side.
- Donna Noble: Yeah, there is. But it's a Sontaran switch; you need three fingers.
- The Doctor: You've got three fingers.
- Donna Noble: Oh, yeah.
- [shapes her hand to form 3 fingers; places it in the switch; the door opens]
- Donna Noble: I'm through.
- The Doctor: Oh,
- [talking right into the mouth piece]
- The Doctor: you're brilliant you are.
- Donna Noble: [sighs] Shut up.
- Wilfred Mott: I won't tell her. Best not... just keep it as our little secret, eh?
- Donna Noble: [brief smile] Yeah.
- Wilfred Mott: And you go with him, that wonderful Doctor. You go and see the stars...
- [emotion in his voice]
- Wilfred Mott: Then, bring a bit of them back for your old Gramps.
- [tears in her eyes, nods and gets up to leave; stops to hug him, kisses him on the head]
- Donna Noble: Love you.
- [walks away; trying not to cry]
- Clone Martha: [having trouble speaking] My heart... is getting slower.
- Martha Jones: [apologetic] There's nothing I can do.
- Clone Martha: In your mind you've got so many plans. There's so much that you want to do.
- Martha Jones: And I will. 'Never do tomorrow what you can do today' my mum says cause...
- Clone Martha: 'Cause you never know how long you've got'... Martha Jones... all that life...
- [heart finally gives out; head drops as she dies]
- The Doctor: Poison gas? That's the weapon of a coward, and you know it. Staal, you could blast this planet out of the sky, and yet you're sitting up above watching it die. Where's the fight in that, where's the honor? Or... are you lot planning something else? 'Cause this isn't normal Sontaran warfare, what are you lot up to?
- General Staal: A general would be unwise to reveal his strategy to the opposing party.
- The Doctor: [amused] Ah, the war's not going so well, then. Losing, are we?
- General Staal: [insulted] Such a suggestion is impossible!
- Colonel Mace: What war?
- The Doctor: The war between the Sontarans and the Rutans, raging far out in the stars for 50 000 years. 50 000 years of bloodshed, and for *what?*
- General Staal: For victory!
- [the Sontarans start chanting "Sontar-Ha" again]
- The Doctor: [annoyed] Give me a break!
- [uses his sonic screwdriver to change to a TV channel]
- Colonel Mace: Doctor, I would seriously recommend that this dialogue is handled by official Earth representations.
- [the Doctor switches back to the Sontarans who have stopped chanting]
- The Doctor: Finished?
- General Staal: Doctor, you impugn my honor!
- The Doctor: Yeah, I'm really glad you didn't say belittle, 'cause then I'd have a field day.
- [just been rescued; voice high-pitched with relief & gratitude]
- Donna Noble: Have I ever told you how much I hate you!
- [hugging him tightly]
- Colonel Mace: You will face me sir!
- [Skorr turns around will a yell; Mace shoots him & he collapses; laying on the floor with a satisfied smile]
- Commander Skorr: Wonderful.
- [Luke has just finished rewiring his teleport pod]
- Martha Jones: What are you doing?
- Luke Rattigan: Something clever.
- [teleports himself onboard the Sontaran ship]
- Sontarans: [chanting] Sontar-ha! Sontar-ha!
- [chanting stops when they realize Luke has taken the Doctor's place with a device set to ignite the air onboard]
- Luke Rattigan: Sontar-Ha!
- [slams the buttom that blows up the ship]
- Mace: Sontarans might think of us as primitives, as does every passing species with an axe to grind.
- [the Doctor is adjusting his atmospheric converter]
- Martha Jones: Doctor, hold on, you said the atmosphere would *ignite*!
- The Doctor: Yeah, I did, didn't I.
- [fires the converter into the sky]
- The Doctor: [after Greyhound 40/Ross is killed] His name wasn't Greyhound 40, his name was Ross... Now listen to me, and GET THEM OUT OF THERE!
