Those barbarians people called Lombards came from of northwest of the Europe, most precisely Sweden nowadays, they settled in Germanic territory for a while and then when the Roman empire falling down they finally get a large portion of lands in Italic ground, for centuries they lived there and your major legacy were devenloped cities and gathering all differents kind of those germans tribes around under the rules a unique king, also left behind a name of north territory of Italy know today as "Lombardia" your fingerprints are there forever!!
