Sandcastles in the Sand (#3.16)
ComedyFan201015 July 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Great to go back into Robin's past as a Canadian pop star. We got to see another video that was just as funny as the mall one, even though the song was way less catchy.

And we have that fun observation there on how people behave like they did in the past when they meet a friend of that time. Lily and Michelle were absolutely awesome together! Nice to see James Van Der Beek in it. He actually did a great job here. That horrible guy who dumps Robin once for a pool and then for a jacuzzi. Besides him it was great to see small cameos by Alan Thicke and Tiffany in it. Such a Canadian video.

And Barney talking to Robin before they went to her place was a very sweet scene. He was actually a very nice caring friend right there. And omg after they seem to have hooked up, I wonder how the next episode will go

Robin has gone from 100 to 0

I started this show off in love with Robin, i mean she is absolutely gorgeous come on. By season 3:16 i sometimes find her unbelievably annoying... having a whole episode about her, well lets just say i found myself with a straight face huffing and puffing and rolling my eyes in frustration the whole way.

Possibly The Worst Episode This Show Has Done
slightlymad2217 December 2014
This is possibly the worst episode this show has ever done. Any episode that features Robin in a leading role is asking for trouble. Cobie Smulders is attractive, however she is not funny, and her scenes here are painful.

Plot In A Paragraph: Robin is excited about seeing her first boyfriend, Simon, who is coming into town for a visit. Robin wants to prove that she's done better than him since he dumped her ten years earlier. It is obvious to Robin's friends that she's done better. But Robin, not seeing what the others do, falls head over heels for Simon all over again. And Barney makes it his mission to find Robin Sparkles' second music video which Robin had never mentioned previously even.

Even the end with Barney and Robin hooking up is not enough to save the episode.

A pants episode
shuban23 April 2008
Any show with heavily features Robyn is asking for trouble. Cobie Smulders is beautiful but her character is so painfully unfunny it is unreal.

Probably the worst episode that this show has done. The show is uneven in quality, but this is a new low.

I just felt that the writers are struggling to come up with ideas for character, as we know she will not end up with Ted, but importantly do we care who she does end up with.

I think they need to Marissa her, to save the show.

Robyn is the weakest link, Goodbye.
