Rappers Delight
mrdigital1329 January 2021
Writer-Director-Producer Jake Fay spins a tale of hope versus reality when a talented Central Massachusetts rapper struggles with high ambition, lack of money and moderate support. Relying on others to get to where he's going his arrogance gets the better of him, grounding him in the process of reality rather than the dreams of success. Some well produced music is a bonus.

A moving film about dreams and the courage to pursue them.
evelyne-86 February 2021
A powerful film about dreams and how to pursue them. This film almost felt like a documentary, it was so real, raw and honest. Those struggling with the courage to pursue what you want, no matter what it is will love this film. Well done, real and moving.

Good film

I'm not into the rap scene, yet this film managed to grab my interest and keep it. Good acting, very human elements and some very interesting angles - all contribute to make this a good film to watch.

Follow the dream
directortim201219 January 2021
After watching a number of disappointing mainstream movies (I'm looking at you Wonder Woman 1984) it was great to get lost in a very real, honest, no b.s. indie film. I believed completely in the reality of these characters and the setting. The movie was filled with truthful, unvarnished moments. I liked the characters and loved that the film showed both the highs and lows of following your dreams. You don't have to have a super high rap IQ to love this film. You only need to know what it feels like to dream.

A raw look on what it takes to make it
NUDavis859-127 January 2021
A raw unapologetic look of what it takes to make your dreams become a reality. This indie has us journey with Sin and company as they go through their highs and lows without pulling any punches. The characters are fleshed out and intriguing. The soundtrack is awe-inspiring. And the struggle is real, making you feel the grind as they fight to get to the next level of their success. Without giving anything away, anyone who has a dream should check out this story so you know what it takes to make it.

Very nice film dealing with the struggles of making it in the tough world of entertainment. We see all the relationships played out in the town of Lynn, MA. Great soundtrack, well acted and worth a watch. Acting strong as well. I recommend.

Authentic Drama About The Local Rap Scene
JGReviews19 January 2021
The Process is an authentic look at two friend trying to make it the local rap scene. As you might expect in a film about music, the film has a great soundtrack. The Process was refreshing and real, which goes a long way for me. If you're interested at all in films about rap then you're going to enjoy this indie.

Striking cinematography and great music

I was hooked right away not only by the beat, but by the striking cinematography that effortlessly moved about the car. The Process is an authentic naturalist indie film with heart. The film is very tight well paced doesn't overstay its welcome at all. I thought all the actors did a great job with not only the dialogue and acting but the rapping as well. There is a sense of reality to the picture. Good music and I thought it was relatable for everyone striving to achieve their dreams

Inspiring Indie!
bartlettdirect3 February 2021
This well-directed film has the rap music scene as its lure with an excellent soundtrack to be sure, but it's more about the pitfalls and stumbling blocks paving the path to success in small town America that all aspiring artists can easily relate to. Sometimes brutally intimate, this is one movie fully deserving of its awards and nominations.

Authentic and insightful
JCanni6824 January 2021
A raw, honest look at the rap game, which doesn't glamorize it but feels genuine and gets intimate with it's characters, making you care about them. The characters are relatable and deal with real problems while navigating growing up, relationships, and career aspirations. Btw, the soundtrack is excellent!
