With the exception of Ron's song, the film is 100% improvised. No dialogue was written, no screenplay was written. The actors developed their characters together and collaborated with the director to define their context in the story.
The project was largely made with available resources left from production of the feature-length motion picture Heart of Now (2010) which had wrapped four weeks earlier.
The film is officially certified as Dogme #242.
Ron and Carol (played by John T. Woods and Marion Kerr) both make reference to Carol's unseen fiancé, Noah. The character of Noah was played by John T. Woods in Sabi Pictures' feature-length motion picture, Heart of Now (2010).
