A small yet very comprehensive short that chronicles the amazing career of soccer player Lionel Messi, from his humble beginnins up to playing in Argentinean teams all the
way to the Europe League, performing with excellence and great success. Here we have several of his highlights, moves on the field, plenty of records broken and all (but no
World Cup win so far). But he can truly be considered a GOAT (greatest of all time) for our time being.
Since I'm not much of a soccer fan, just watch it here and there and specially during World Cup season, I didn't know much about him except when he appears on headlines either winning some big game in Europe or minor gossip talks, after all he's a celebrity and people follow him everywhere. So, to me, it was fun to watch and learn more about the man, the player and how he conducts his business in a nice manner quite outside of controversy (if there is one, it's not big enough to damage his career). But I loved everything that was presented since he seems like a humble guy, down to earth and who doesn't take himself so seriously (even though some images do give the impression he's too serious and focused). He's a fascinating character, so I guess that's why I felt compelled to watch this short. And it was all great! In time, we'll have a more detailed and longer project to watch and admire his life and career. 10/10.
