Well played, Vegas. Well played.
The tagline "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" has been a bunch of baloney for a very long time -- or at least since Facebook took off and social media invaded society. Nothing proved that to be true more than Prince Harry's naked photos being circulated around the web. If the nude royal rump -- with its hired team of bodyguards and minders -- can't "stay in Vegas," nothing can.
Luckily, Vegas is taking it all in stride. (Yes, we're personifying "Vegas," as if it's not a place but a person. We imagine him chubby and balding with a very expensive watch and a very pretty girlfriend who may or may not be visiting from the Cathouse... but that's neither here nor there.)
Now, the city's tourism arm has found a way to capitalize on the incident, turning it into a marketing campaign.

Barbican showcases costumes and props from the films' 50-year history, from suits and swimwear to gadgets and diamonds
The Chesterfield coat and hat Sean Connery wears in Dr No for his first meeting with M; Roger Moore's yellow ski suit and red backpack seen on the slopes in The Spy Who Loved Me; George Lazenby's kilt donned in On Her Majesty's Secret Service; the Brioni suit Pierce Brosnan wore to drive a tank in Goldeneye; and Daniel Craig's infamously snug baby-blue swim trunks of Casino Royale fame. All are featured in the Barbican's blockbuster summer show Designing 007: 50 Years of Bond Style, which opens on Friday
Every aspect of this extensive retrospective of the Bond films has been carefully thought through. It is as camp and fun as it is nerdishly packed with facts, production sketches, storyboards and costume drawings. Film screens playing classic clips are dotted throughout,...

Much like the previous entries in the series, She Likes Girls 4 offers a selection of lesbian short films, cherry-picked to represent some of the best examples from the last year or two. This time around, the focus is on “tomboys and tough girls,” though the theme doesn’t really carry through the whole collection (or the bubblegum pink packaging).
Thankfully, the quality is consistent — and none of the movies feels like a cheap throwaway or worse — a transparent nod to a famous celesbian. There are a couple of mild clunkers in the bunch, but nothing poor enough to ruin the whole package. In fact, the overall experience is likely to satisfy far better than your average lesbian feature film.
The collection begins with Babysitting Andy, one of the more offbeat comedies in the bunch. Actually, all of the funny shorts in this package are oddly surreal — with a prevailing campiness...
