- A young man is seen bruised after it is revealed that his father badly beat him with a kettle. It is mentioned a lot but never shown
- A man is punched in the face and punched again when is lying on the ground leaving him with a slightly bloodied lip
- A man cuts off his own fingers offscreen multiple times. The gory severed fingers are seen on occasion and the man's gruesome hand stumps are also seen.
- A small donkey is seen dead after trying to consume a severed finger. Lingering shot over the carcass and we see a character fish the finger out.
