Warning: Spoilers
The Gosselins adjust to a new schedule as the twins, Cara and Mady start first grade. The previous year, they just had half day kindergarten, and it was in the afternoon. So it is a new experience for the girls to have to get up at 6:30 am each morning with an alarm clock and get dressed, eat and out the door.

Kate is a little worried for the girls being away all day. So she ticks a family snapshot and a note on a napkin in their lunch boxes. It's interesting that on Mady's note she adds a little extra sentence about "speak kindly and be a friend" that she doesn't put on Cara's. Mady struggles more with her attitude than Cara.

The sextuplets start their morning watching cartoons in the parent's bedroom. Kate notices the noise level is lower once the twins are off to school and that it feels lonely - even though there are still 6 kids left at home! Kates day consists of make a meal, serve a meal, clean up a meal, clean up kids, change diapers, bodily fluids, then make another meal, clean it up.... and on and on.

Then they play outside... yawn... this episode is boring me. Collin pulls kids in a wagon like a bus. Then they are making a card for their dad while Kate makes lunch. It shocks me that Kate closes the kitchen door and leaves the kids outside by themselves - yikes! Alexis and Collin get into it. They say it's because Collin wants control and Alexis is wild and you can't control a wild woman. Collin does all the cleaning up - he is "helper boy".

Funny exchange - the girls ask to sleep with the boys at nap time and Kate says "nope, we don't sleep with the boys anymore. And you won't until you are married!" The kids like to watch episodes of "Mommy and Daddy" (that is what they call episodes of "Jon and Kate plus eight") when they are going down for a nap. They don't care about seeing themselves - they just like seeing mom and dad, it comforts them says Kate.

From 4-6pm it is chaos once the twins get off the bus and the little kids are up from nap. Sometimes Kate puts Mady in charge of the little kids to take them off her hands a little while - but admits she can be very bossy and rough with them.

Mady is even controlling when it is time for the little kids to give their dad the cards they made. She has to be the distributor, rather than just letting the kids give it to their dad. She has to be the center of attention. It even made Jon mad and annoyed, but Kate makes excuses - "she just wanted to be involved because she was at school all day."

This episode was pretty boring - I think they must have run out of ideas and just had to put something together. My least favorite episode, I think.
