She flees to her home in South Tyrol, where her estranged sister Ida (Barbara Krzoska) maintains her late parents' farm with a temp. But Lara's unexpected appearance opens up old wounds and disturbs the fragile peace. Can the sisters find their way back to each other and rewrite their life plans?
- Midsummer in Germany. The heat is stifling. Lara takes care of her one-year-old daughter Olivia, while her boyfriend Jacob pursues his stressful job as a cook. He is fed up with his work, Lara is overstrained with her duties as a mother. Jacob searches in vain for recognition from his boss and takes refuge in an affair. Lara feels left alone with the child and has enough. Without a word, she leaves the baby with Jacob and sets off for her sister Ida's home in South Tyrol. Ida, together with her temp, the young, carefree Rafael, takes care of the farm of the deceased parents. Lara's spontaneous arrival causes a lot of confusion on the farm, and the sisters clash again and again. Meanwhile, Jacob has to cope with the new situation and is at a loss.
