Sex & Nudity
-
- Some male zombies are shirtless. But there is no nudity whatsoever.
Violence & Gore
-
- Not that much violence. If you stab a zombie in the head there is a small blood spurt and blood on their face. You can shoot zombies and humans with guns, but only some blood spurts. You can dismember zombies, but nothing too bad. There is some environmental violence like some blood pools.
- Zombie decapitations are in the game.
- If you shoot a gas tank next to a zombie, it's most likely some of his limbs will be missing.
- You can put sever zombie heads in your backpack. Very creepy.
- Violence is much more tame than you'd originally think
Profanity
-
- There are a few swear words here and there. They say the f-word two-three times in the very beginning and the s-word many times throughout the rest of the game. It is swearing like an R rated movie. Any kid 14+ could probably be allowed to play the game.
- Tons of cursing in between dialogue and what is said is very very vulgar.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Bottles of alcohol can be found lying around in houses, and are used for either killing zombies, or resources.
- Cigarettes can also be found in homes, however are only used for scavenging supplies.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The zombies can be frightening.
- This category deserves to be "Severe".
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- At the end of the game there is a woman bleeding out
- At the end of the game you have a choice to kill someone in a church, if you don't she rings the horde bell and blood goes through the floor boards, very bloody
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- When the bell rings, a horde of zombies are coming after you. You must kill them with every weapon you've got. The game gets extremely intense at this moment.
