The ending compensated for the roguish writing of the episode

Warning: Spoilers
The episode, like many others, had its ups and downs. Only for this one, I felt weirded out enough to write a review about it.

The title of the episode is very accurate. The outbursts came left, right and centre whether you like them to or not, and even whether they were necessary or not. For a moment, I got teleported back to the time I was watching Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, because this episode was on par with it, only that Zoey doesn't have a mental illness that we know of. The point I'm getting at is that the outbursts and the events in this episode weren't naturally executed.

We've all reached rock bottom at one point in our lives, and any normal person wouldn't just lash out at everyone at a close proximity. Rebecca Bunch might have. But not Zoey. At least, not the Zoey we are led to believe we know about. Mo and the final scene really saved the episode.

Overall, the structure of the episode felt slightly confused, but owes its rating to a fortunate saving grace.

Truly brilliant episode

To those saying this is out of character for the Zoey we have discovered over earlier episodes, yes, you are correct, but that is the point of an outburst, it is out of character but is driven by external circumstances Zoey has been a sponge for everyone's inner emotions around her, there is a point where u can take no more and explode at those closest to you Hence her outbursts, some perfectly justified, some less so Yes, the final scenes do give payback, and tbh the ending is just "perfect" And the astonishing soundtrack doesn't hurt either

Um what??

Warning: Spoilers
Why is everyone in this episode absolutely insane? Why was Zoey so rude and mean to literally everyone? I understand she's angry because of grief, but seriously. That was extreme. Like saying that the guys grief was boring? Man, Zoey is freaking heartless. Basically everyone in this episode took crazy pills.

From hero to zero

Didn't think Zoeys character was capable of behaving like such a sociopath, taking what she wants when she wants it, using sensitive information that she knows about people to attack them. This episode reminded me of when the show You're the Worst turned from fun to bummer. Oh well, had a good run. Shall cease watching.

The main lead of a comedy/hearty new gen show should be likeable people. You're dolling her up with high waisted jeans and brushed hair so you really want people to like her but please fix her storyline and moral compass too. She is not coming off as likable at all. She looks good, bravo for tha. Because Jane Levy doesn't look like that in real life!
