Not why I would go to Iceland.

I will never understand or want to understand wrestling. I certainly couldn't ever bring myself to watch a match. Weirdly in this film it looks more like a weird formal dance.

I also find it odd how grey and miserable these Icelandic films always seem to be.

Quite honestly I could have done without seeing it and especially the one guys wrinkled old backside.

It's actually quite boring and has some sort of ridiculousness about it.

from light to acting: a perfect movie

Warning: Spoilers
You wouldn't think that a story about gay wrestlers would be interesting or even serious but think again...This short film is full of symbolisms, feelings, ideas, emotions with such a small amount of dialogue. First the landscapes and overall the light play a big role in showing the mood of the characters and how lost they are in their inappropriate love, so trapped into their respective life and relationships; both will suffer a loss that will act as a catalyst and change their destiny. The symbol could look a bit naive :one of the guy digs tunnels and the day he pierced the hole and sees the outside, is the time he decides what he needs to do next....but it worked for me. Compared to the rest of the story, the ending could appear unrealistic but if you develop any compassion for the characters, you will like it.

salted

Air, landscape , the dependence by other and the loss, the relation between lead characters and the end. all seems covered in salt. and that is a good point. because it seems a film about nothing. in fact, it is just a poem. about choices, about opportunities and decision. and, sure, about broken fears. it is not easy to define it. or to see it more as a boring short film. but its special beauty remains admirable. and, maybe, that gives to it a salted crust remembering the great love stories and the courage defining them.
