Phoebe is a snoopy and is forced into this show

The lady at the museum who's name is Phoebe shouldn't be a part of the story and Marcus should have stole those damn portraits. You don't trust humans to secure anything! Marcus is a doctor but acts like a dumb little kid. How do you not secure your pictures of when you were younger to not raise any suspicion. Who snoops around someone's house at night, Phoebe should have been eaten like all snippy people in vampire movies. Haha.

This is my favorite show but I felt like I didnt get my weekly fix at all from it. No Mathew or Diana whatsoever. It felt like a compendium add on:(

Past and present separated

The series could have been handled better by splitting past and present.

Writers have messed the timeline in past, astray from from book, but trying to keep the flow compared to book was less successful.
