Very Funny cow scene
ctyankee122 December 2009
This episode has many small stories in it as do the others. The one about the cow is very funny. The cow gets out of his fenced in area and everyone goes looking for it. The cow answers to a certain name when called. They called the cow, she answered and they had to pull her out of a pit that burnt all her hair off, I thought they said it was a lime pit. Later they comment that Mrs Forrester (the latest Miss Marple-Julia McKenzie)bought several yards of gray flannel material and they were wondering was she was going to use it for. In this town everyone knows everybody's business. The next time they see the cow it has a gray shirt which covers its front legs and back and is attached by a gray pants that covers it's belly and goes down the back legs like thermal pajamas. It is so funny to see. Cranford is on PBS and the first 3 episodes are all together, and last 3 or more hours.
