A motorcycle racer turns up dead, and this leads B&B to investigate the world of motorcycle racing. A second death only compounds matters. Wings Hauser is the guest star, for those who may remember good old Wings from his B-movie days in the 1980s. Wings also appeared on an episode of HOUSE awhile back, and his son is current B-movie actor Cole Hauser. It's pretty obvious who did the dirty deeds early on, but that's OK. As dreary as some of these episodes get (like the whole Angela-Hodgins courtship storyline), it's always fun to watch B&B in action. For any kids watching this show, the motorcycle angle will certainly appeal to them.

Warning: Spoilers
Andrew Lawrence its been a while since I've seen him. "Serious as a gas attack," lol come on Bones. I'm with you Angela I wouldn't want to touch that boiler either. Well it wouldn't be the first time Bones went on a date with a murder suspect. Poor Sweets i do feel bad for him but it's ok he'll find someone just right for him. I wish we could've gotten a scene with all of them at the "bowling rink" hahaha.

"You want to come bowling with us at the bowling rink?"

Sweets is becoming more a part of our crew every day. To observe Bones and Booth in a non-work environment, he invites them to come along to his and his girlfriend's ceramics class. Booth wants to do something he'd be good at like shooting or climbing, but it turns out he's quite the sculptor and impresses everyone with his horse. Sweets messes things up with his girlfriend and gets a face full of wet clay. Later in the episode, a freshly dumped Sweets is wandering around the Jeffersonian and just happens upon B&B. Clearly he wouldn't be in that building if he wasn't looking for our duo. They see right through his lie and invite him out bowling. A first step to a lifelong friendship with the young psychiatrist.

A very fishy episode.

Warning: Spoilers
Hi Bones Booth Podcast.

English Jan here again.

I'm not sure what happened with the writing on this episode; it feels a bit bitty as if they were trying too hard to give everyone something to do.

Booth once again uses the term "Girls" to describe women, tusk, tusk Booth, did you learn nothing from Cam telling you off for the same thing just a few episodes ago?

What is it with Booth's name-calling? Princess, Mr Wizard and Buttercup? Not Booths typical style at all.

Clay fight - Fun.

What's with the very talkative FBI Motor tech?

Booth admits defeat with this case, but I guess you cannot win them all.

I like the ending; Booth and Bones take Sweets bowling to help him get over his breakup. - Cute.

Fishy Investigation

The writers on this one were very lax. There are things that do not make sense for the suspect they finally reveal. I feel that they were more concerned with the B&B relationship aspects of the show than making the investigation ring true.

Low Point

This particular episode seemed endless. A couple of kids are fooling around in a mud pit when a bony hand rises up. Off to the Jeffersonian, mud and all. This leads to the discovery of a motorcycle racer who had a whole raft of enemies. He used dirty tricks on the track, actually paralyzing one guy. There are lots of stupid motorcycle jokes. Bones is so astute at times but acts like she doesn't know about competitive events. I've never seen a Cricket match, but I know what it is--I've heard of Cricket. In a subplot there is a really weak subplot as Sweets invites Booth and Brennan to joint them and to interact. Unfortunately, nothing that happens is funny.
