The film triggered a call for a public inquiry by all three United Kingdom political opposition parties into the issues raised in the film. This has, however, yet to occur.
The film is now used as an educational tool by a number of unions to educate their airline crew members of the issues raised in the film.
On 10 March 2009, the UK based non profit groups 'Aerotoxic Association' and 'Toxic Free Airlines' sent a copy of 'Welcome Aboard Toxic Airlines' to all 1400 Members of Parliament and Peers in the United Kingdom.
