The rich holidays just don't seem authentic - they don't represent the choices of the richer participants, and seem to be just some kind of attempt to reduce the cost for the production company. The only exception was the Croatia catamaran charter. Other than that, even the participants seem embarrassed by their experiences - I mean a adventure holiday in the German countryside looks like a massive poor holiday, same with the Portugal break.

I don't know if it's just the few episodes I've seen, but I want to see actual posh people made to go on a Butlins holiday, not people who are rough as anything and were dragged up on a council estate but now happen to make a higher salary. The show is really boring as a result. I guess the posh people didn't want to apply to the show. Can't blame them really it's not exactly an exciting premise.
They should have focused more on social class than just income - it would have been a much more interesting dynamic.
Some of the 'poor' people going on 'rich' holidays are cute but the other way round is a waste of time.

It's one of those shows you can't stop watching, but not because it's good.
It's stupid that rich people all say the poor holiday experience was great. I could never survive those cheap trips and regardless of "family time" it's utter rubbish that people would enjoy poverty, especially if you normally have no money worries. Complete propaganda.
On the other hand, most of the poor people complain about the rich holiday.
And after all, a holiday with in the UK cannot be called a relaxing and inspiring holiday.
Nobody would enjoy a holiday where you can do things that you want to do because you don't have the budget for it.

Really let down by the second series. It's clear that the holidays the participants are being sent on are NOT the holidays their counterparts would have taken. Unlike season 1, there would be a like for like swap between the pairs. Clearly the production company have decided to save a chunk of money from the budget. Disappointing as normally series two of a show has MORE money spent on it, not less!
