Noah Brandt (Andrew Lee Potts) is part of a Black Ops team transporting weapons and computer chips in a convoy in Northern Afghanistan which is all Taliban country. The group is ambushed. Noah manages to get away and heads north injured. We quickly find out he was the other person who was supposed to die as this was an inside job with soldiers selling out and selling these high tech weapons. Because Noah survived, they need to hunt him down and kill him. He makes it to an outpost manned by Jean-Paul Ly because Tony Jaa is too expensive and Dolph is too old.

This is an action film with a lot of fighting. The keep the dialogue light to prevent the film from getting dragged down.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Ok so they only have 400 bullets and start running out of bullets then its down to 1 bullet.

But yet every one they killed was arm to the teeth with hand guns, rifles, bullets yet they just step over the bodys that had weapons and bullets? Lol! At that point i got mad att the movie...

Watchable, but forgettable action movie...

I must admit that I initially found this 2021 action movie titled "400 Bullets" to have an interesting cover/poster. And with it being a movie that I hadn't seen, of course I took the time to sit down and watch it.

I didn't know anything about the movie prior to watching it, aside from it being an action movie.

Writer and director Tom Paton delivered an okay enough movie. And by that I mean that the movie was watchable, but it wasn't an outstanding or particularly extraordinary movie. For me, it turned out that it was just a bit too generic.

The movie was troubled by having a small cast, which meant that the performers had to put on additionally strong performances to carry the movie. But since they only had a subpar script to work with, then the movie wasn't all that great.

I am sure that there is an audience out there for a movie such as "400 Bullets", however, I found the movie to fall somewhat short of properly entertain me. As I mentioned earlier, the movie is watchable, sure. But this this hardly a movie that I would recommend you rush out to get to watch. Nor is it a movie that I will ever return to watch for a second time.

My rating of "400 Bullets" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.

the worst action movie of the year

Really, i can't believe someone gives a 9 off 10 for this kind off movie. The acting and filming are really poor and everything is in the dark. I think low light covers the bad filming and acting i guess. The story of this movie is so thin and not worth watching, beware.

There is absolutely no way this is a 10-star film, it is a trashy wannabe, poor production values and a waste of your time.

Distributors need to stop paying for shill reviews, its an absolute selfish con.

The storyline is not that bad but the acting is horrible. It's took artificial from the very first second. Don't waste your time watching this movie.

I don't understand the One Star reviews? It's not going to win any Oscars, but I assume they're not expecting to. The acting is good, a little wooden at times. The story is good. The dialogue is good. Overall, it's a Good Film, & worth a watch.

The people giving this too much thought are exactly the type of people nobody cares about their opinions anyhow. If you have ever watched any type of action film and are a fan of the genre, then you will enjoy this movie. This movie offers all of the action you love and more. Think expendables. If you're an action junky, don't listen to the 1 star overly critical whiners and enjoy some good mindless action. Have fun!

Good story, bad execution

The subject was very simple, very attractive from the short description...But the execution was very poor.... I couldn't wait to see why the famous Gurkhas are famous for, but I saw a guy beaten in all possible ways, his famous dagger taken from him several times, with blood oozing from his face, and the same face clean and spotless at the end of the movie, with only a band-aid on a finger. The only one with charisma was the bad guy, Bartlett (James Warren) , who was beating 2 guys in the same time (one special ops and one Gurkha), so... The real Gurkhas will not be happy about this movie.

Another waste of time

Thought i would give this a chance as it had a whole bunch of British actors, boy was I disappointed. Scipt was acted out and written as if it were an end of term production at junior school. The first shoot out I saw consisted of a one sided battle. After that each line was of script was individually read out, mandatory pause, then a response, no feelings or attempt at making it feel real. Total waste of time like many of the other C class movies being tossed out there right now.

Another worst action film! Full of boring conversation, and abysmal action scene! Avoid at all cost!

This film start with a bunch of soldier talking in the truck, and they been attacked scene! As turnout, this film is about two ally(Rana, and Noah) need to prevent Bartlett, and his gang selling missile to the Taliban! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the blackout scene, overuse of the tracking scene, overuse of the long angle mountain scene, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the searching scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the arguing scene, and overuse of the driving scene! Make the film unwatchable! Majority of the shooting scene in the film never show the opponent been hit! The fighting scene have things broken at certain point, but overall quite messy, and portray by sideways! Make the film frustrated to watch! Not a single explosion scene in a war film! Ridiculous! At the end, Noah giving Rana two gold bar as a reward! That's it! Another disappointed film!

Absolute trash

From the very first moment it was just horrible, the ''Black ops" guy is wearing a fur lined coat in the middle of a warzone, nowone is wearing helmets, theres practically no escort even though there supposedly moving a high value cargo. Furthermore theres about 1 gun per 2 people. I know this is a budget movie but man this was absolute trash. The acting and dialogue is poor and on top of that the name of the movie is just dumb. 400 bullets really? I honestly feel bad for the actors that have to live with this absolute trainwreck of a movie being out there for everyone to watch.

I thought Prometheus would be the worst movie ever but somehow some guys got together and decided they were going to shoot a movie. So they manage to gather some army trucks, some old containers and a couple of lamps. Then they went out looking for some very needed actors searching for some weekend cash, gave them some lines and here we go. The main idea is that the good guys are fighting the bad guys and they only have 400 bullets. Yes, they are in an important advanced outpost with tanks, armored vehicles, humvees and lots of equipment but somehow the only two soldiers left there have no ammo... absurd. When the two good guys get together the oriental honourable fellow forgets completely his pal is sleeping and the bad guys arrive and finish him off. Oh no... why am I watching this!. Why?? Because I want to know that most probable this would turn into something worse! And it did!

But not in this role. His character is supposedly a British Special Forces operator and yet he gets beaten several times with the least amount of effort. I know American airmen who are tougher to take down than this character. And the support characters where horrible too, with the minor expecting of that Support Specialist guy who ends up with the gold at the end (*spoilers*), who if he had honor would have turned in the gold as it was the property of the British Army/government. This movie would have been a heck of a lot better if the choreography for the fight scenes were done properly, but you can see the actors leaving their arms extended after throwing a punch so they could be captured, and more stupidity. Everyone who has the basics of a proper training knows to get back to fight stance after each punch to protect your face/self, and how to block punches, kicks and knives. And Special Operators have been trained in advanced hand to hand combat. Heck, I have more hand to hand skills from Military Police training, than these poorly written characters. (I have gained even more since then.) Also, I would not have needed 400 bullets to put down those turncoat either. But I guess this movie needed a proper military liaison to make things more believable. They should have spent the money to hire one. Hopefully, a lesson learned.

Another issue: The bullet that was removed wasn't even mushroomed like it should have done when it impacts a body, for realism. Only bullets that haven't been fired into solid matter are unsmushed. It's easy enough to find out what a bullet would have looked like after entering a body. But there shouldn't have been a bullet to pull out of that flesh wound on his side anyway, because it would have been a through and through due to the little bit of flesh (skin and muscle) in that location and the speed of the bullet. They were shooting the equivalent of an American M16A2/M4 Carbine, AKs, and a few handguns (mostly looked to be 9mm) and a sniper rifle and any one of the bullets would have been a through and through when going through thsuch little flesh.

I had watched about half of it one night and was reluctant to finish it, but curiosity got the better of me.
