- At the Skateboard Park Finals Moneygames, Chad Saverson shows off his sick X-Games style skate tricks, such as a 360 over the gap, Alley Oop 50-50 grind through the shallow end pocket, fakie 540 Ollie and a textbook Miller flip. The running commentary by Kurt Boarders and Chris Dudecker provides analogies to saving for retirement.—Artie Romero
- At the Skateboard Park Finals Moneygames, network television sports commentators Kurt Boarders and Chris Dudecker introduce themselves and get the audience set up to follow the action. The announcers explain that the skater everyone is talking about today is Chad Saverson, age 24 from Springfield, who has been with Red Bull since June, 2011, and whose hobbies include surfing, reggae and flash events. Saverson has told the sportscasters that he's going to focus first on the Red Bull employer match. Dudecker comments, "Right now all eyes are on Chad Saverson. He's just joined the plan. Chad's pretty laid back off the board, but he's looking dead-serious today."
Saverson starts his performance with a 360 over the gap, and Kurt Boarders comments, "360 over the gap! How's that for a first trick? Amazing!" Dudecker chimes in, "He could have played it conservative... but you've gotta love this kid's style." Suprisingly, with his next trick, Saverson completely maxes the employer match.
Next Saverson smartly skates backwards, jumps and spins with his board 1 and 1/2 times, as the crowd goes crazy. Dudecker shouts, "A fakie 540 ollie! He is owning this bowl!"
Boarders continues excitedly, "Clean landing off the rail slide." Dudecker quickly comments, "An alley-oop 50-50 grind through the shallow end pocket!"
"Big finish coming up. Can Chad maintain his composure?" asks Boarders. Dudecker calmly replies, "Well, he's almost there... and here's a textbook Miller Flip!
As the crowd goes wild, Saverson celebrates while skating slowly down the half-pipe.
