Will Chuck's secret be exposed?
Tweekums1 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This episode sees Dwight Dixon, the old friend of Chuck and Ned's fathers, continue his search for the pocket watch that had supposedly been buried with Chuck. He knows that her grave contained neither the grave nor the watch and now that he is dating Aunt Vivian it is only a matter of time before he realises that Charlotte Charles is the girl he met in The Pie Hole. There is of course a murder to be solved too; this time an aged multimillionaire whose lawyer believes wrote a second will disinheriting his young trophy wife. When asked the victim stated that 'the bellman did it'; the bellman in question being somebody from charity organisation that is led by a man who considers himself a latter day Robin Hood.

The main mystery was fairly light this week although it was fun seeing Ethan Phillips, best known as Neelix from 'Star Trek: Voyager' without his alien make up; if it hadn't been for his distinctive voice I wouldn't have recognised him! The real interest this week was what Dwight Dixon was up to and what he would do when he learnt that Chuck was alive and working at The Pie Hole. There was a great scene between Stephan Root, who plays Dwight, and Swoosie Kurtz who plays Aunt Lily and a surprise when she sneaks into his room and discovers enough weaponry to start a small war! As with many episodes this season there is a cliff hanger ending that will leave the viewer keen to watch the next episode to discover what happens next.

Dwight sticks around for another episode....oh, and some old fart dies.

Warning: Spoilers
Stephen Root (Dwight) continues visiting with Chuck's aunts and you wonder what it's all about--why is he searching so hard for a beaten up old brass watch? Why woo the aunt?! Will this continue for even MORE episodes?!

As far as the weekly murder goes, a guy working for a millionaire wants Emerson and the gang to find out who killed his elderly boss. You may recognize the employee--he's Ethan Phillips. He played 'Neelix' on "Star Trek: Voyager" though under all that makeup you may find it hard to see that the actor in "Pushing Daisies" is the same guy. Also, the boss is the old-time comedian, Shelley Berman. The killing has something to do with a Robin Hood-like thief--exactly what this is, you'll have to see for yourself.

A good episode, but I thought the murder mystery to be a disappointment. After all, EVERYTHING about the crime was revealed by the narrator in the final moments of the show and you never really see Emerson and the gang solve anything.
