A very strong episode of the show, with everyone getting their moment to shine.

Full of great lines and lovely characterisation, this was the show at its best.

Well, Penny comes back from a travel (as far as I remember, abroad) and tells the nerds her friends all got sick. Sheldon then goes insane and believes she's infected, although she doesn't even cough. Then, with all the power of his mind, Sheldon becomes sick and his nerd friends do all they can to avoid him, since he is even more annoying when he's sick-- and believe me, it is possible. In the cheesecake factory Sheldon has some real funny jokes which made me laugh hard, such as the "You're doomed" part. The IQ moment is also surprisingly hilarious. "Möchest du eine Darmspiegelung" scene was absurdly creative, congratulations for the writers. I really hope all the episodes of this season were that well made...

The Pancake Batter Anomaly is one of the funniest episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" yet

Warning: Spoilers
When Penny returns from her hometown in Nebraska, she tells Leonard and Sheldon that many of her immediate family had the flu. That signals Sheldon to keep away from her since he's a germaphobic. When Sheldon does get sick, Leonard decides to ditch him to watch a Planet of the Apes marathon at a cinema with Howard and Raj. So, ironically, Penny ends up taking care of Sheldon by rubbing vapor rub on him and singing a song his mother warbled to him. After Leonard found out on his cell phone, he and his buddies sneak back in with an upset Penny waiting...This was one of the most hilarious episodes I've seen this season! From Sheldon's various sickness reactions to Penny's flabbergasted indignities to Leonard, Howard, and Raj's shenanigans, this was such a top-notch outing! And I loved Howard's quoting of the "dirty paws off my popcorn" line from the first Apes outing since I watched this a few weeks after the originator of that one, Charlton Heston, recently died. One more thing, Chuck Lorre made his 200th vanity card here and tells us...how lonely he is. He can't be too much so since he now has two hit TV shows in a row!

This episode is classic. From Leonard running out of the apartment putting on his clothes to the foray to get his back up glasses. Hey Heather. One of the best episodes of the series

Starting from the way Leonard runs out of the apartment; to the way Mrs Wolowitz talks in the episode this episode has some of the cutest comedy acting of all time.

Soft Kitty

Sheldon gets sick and Penny ends up taking care of him, even though he blames her for his illness. Howard, Raj, and Leonard run away, knowing the horror of trying to take care of their obnoxious friend. They go to a Planet of the Apes marathon. Sheldon goes beyond the limits of craziness with his illness. This is the first time we hear that kitty song that Sheldon's mother used to sing to him, delivered by Penny with venom galore. We also get to hear a shouting match between Howard and his mother.

Warning: Spoilers
Sick Sheldon is pretty fun and so is this episode. Leonard running away and then dealing with his broken glasses was an awesome part of this episode. And it is the introduction of Soft Kitty song, this alone deserves 10 points.

The show has taken a serious nose dive!
DangerManTX25 March 2008
After the writers strike, this show has just not shown any real consistence of quality. The worst episode to date was The Loobenfeld Decay.

The show now lasts about 20 minutes or less, and gives the feeling of being badly produced. The sets are the same as ever, the apartment, the landing... This is just not good enough for an 8 pm slot. I doubt it will make it to a third season.

The character of Penny has changed, and oddly enough looks less interesting. Wolowitz and Koothrapalli in episode 11 play virtually no part at all in the show. A quite miss-able episode.
