I was impressed by the beautiful performance of Lola Wood. In same measure, by the wise storytelling of a drama often unknown, painful, out of words, intense. Not last, for the fair - precise portrait of bullies.

A high school student is the carer of her ill father. For his pain, the solution is the cannabis cigarre. A blackmail , painfull at whole at moral level, makes the secret public.

A simple story beautiful crafted moment by moment. This is the main virtue of Growing Pains because it is a smart kick to reflection about moral, decisions, cruelty, cold law, pressure of school and the truth so deep breathing.

And, I admitt, I was just grateful to young lola Wood for the portrait of her rhea.
