It sounds, more than ever, as if the Orville‘s days exploring the cosmos may be over.
The Seth MacFarlane-captained space saga has been Mia since August 2022, and many signs have pointed to The Orville being spacedocked — especially given how long it took to get Season 3 launched. Hulu, though, has yet to confirm that the expensive, VFX-heavy series won’t be returning.

Daniel Radcliffe is a proud dad to… a baby boy!
Radcliffe and his girlfriend, Erin Darke, welcomed the little one — their first child together — back in April but had yet to reveal the sex of their baby until now. While speaking to Et’s Denny Directo ahead of the season 4 premiere of Radcliffe’s TBS series, “Miracle Workers”, the “Harry Potter” alum gushed over life as a new dad.
“It’s great. It’s crazy and intense, but he’s wonderful and Erin is amazing — it’s a real privilege also to have this time with him,” Radcliffe gushed. “I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I’m able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely.”
He added, “So, we’re having a great time.”

The winners of this year’s recipients of the Walter Cronkite Awards had a common theme: Combating misinformation.
So when award sponsor USC Annenberg’s Norman Lear Center held a National Press Club luncheon for the honorees last week, there was a bit of reminder of the stakes: During the ceremony news unfolded of the unsealing of former President Donald Trump’s federal indictment.
Many of the winners reported on Trump and his false claims of a stolen 2020 election, something that he has repeated during his current election campaign. He’s also called the indictment itself the “boxes hoax.”
Martin Kaplan, director of The Norman Lear Center, said, “Disinformation is an apt focus in particular for the Cronkite award, not only because it feels like disinformation is everywhere all at once, but because the namesake of this award is Walter Cronkite” who was known as “the most trusted man in America.

Walt Disney World workers have reached a tentative agreement with Disney for a pay raise to $18/hour for existing workers by the end of this year. The union will now recommend workers vote to approve the agreement.
The agreement comes after union members rejected an offer last month of $17 per hour as the minimum wage.
“Securing an $18 minimum hourly rate this year, increasing the overall economic value of Disney’s original offer, and ensuring full back pay for every worker are the priorities union members were determined to fight for,” said Matt Hollis, president of the Services Trades Council Union (Stcu), in a statement Thursday.
The deal will give all theme park workers a raise, according to the union and the company. The union said raises will range from $5.50 to $8.60 an hour by the end of the contract.
The company said the contract would guarantee a minimum of $17 an hour...
