Why is everyone complaining??, 17 July 2008

I have only just seen the posters for the Dragonball movie and my first thoughts were 'Oh My God! Fantastic!' But after looking at other sites with the pics i have noticed that nearly everyone has said 'Its crap', and 'Is that the best they could do?', and 'All fans are going to boy-cot the film'. Well i have one thing to say to these people...
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT? YOU CALL YOURSELVES FANS? I have been watching Dragonball, Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT for years now, i would consider myself a true fan but I'm certainly not going to ignore the live action movie just because some of the characters 'dont look the same'. If your a true fan you should be able to watch it and like it anyway. Its the spirit that counts, we should think ourselves lucky that big name stars want to star in it. James Marsters who is playing Piccolo said his kids have been watching it for years and said they love the idea, so why cant we? We cant expect LIVE ACTION versions of animes to be spot on! But its just amazing to think that something that was first created with a pencil on paper is going to be made into a live action. I hope this is a start for other people animes to become the same.
Finally, I think we should all just watch it first and then make our decisions. We cant judge it now without seeing, but i cant wait to see it and love it.
