Questioned by police detectives at the station, a man in custody talks about what led him there, namely his encounter with a pack of "scary teens". Blake, a rapper, performs his latest autobiographical song which is more process-oriented than story-oriented. The communication is lost in translation between a baby and his parents who are trying to sleep train him. Guys are conflicted in talking about their girlfriends and needing the approval of their other guy friends about how she looks. And Michael and Victor, formerly of the boys band Boyz B Boyz, are confronted at the most inopportune of times by their former band mates, Bad Boy, Corn Rows and Tyler about why they left the band two years ago.

Many people work hard and play hard, but TPOCs often have to tolerate hard. Franco, Vance and Guled's singular focus on playing a video game changes when Tim tells them he has two tickets to the chocolate factory. The nervousness in Mark meeting girlfriend Sharon's parents for the first time is overtaken by a high five from a Sharon's little brother, Tyler. Four young male friends waiting at the clinic to deal with their respective bouts of the flu connect emotionally with elderly patient, Rose, who in turn becomes their everything, until. Big Pinky and Criminal Record are trying to record their latest rap song, which isn't helped by real life. In visiting what is purportedly the most haunted house in the city, one of three friends makes an assumption which has racist overtones. A basketball coach reprimands his losing team, the members who in turn want to quit for what they consider obvious reasons. Guled talks about his blackness in spite of an admission to the contrary. And in the mayor's son having been kidnapped and held hostage for ransom, one of the police detectives leading the investigation and negotiation with the kidnapper has to be more clear with his instructions.

A First Nations man and African-Canadian man have an online feud seemingly about the differences in their cultures. Two office coworkers bump into each other, which ignites or doesn't ignite a war of words. A member of an emergency response unit, in dealing with a hostage situation, finds that he also has to deal with an active bomb in freeing the hostages, disarming the bomb in which he has no experience. Two guy friends dine out at what they may end up considering the perfect guy place. The front man for a rock band can't help but show his pleasure at performing in Toronto. A Vietnamese guy is on a first date with someone he met on an app, he choosing this Caucasian girl for a specific reason. The guys learn the hard way that others know their secret handshake, they trying to discover which of the four leaked the information. Two soldiers on the battlefield assess the situation with their wounded comrade. And the guys retain a lawyer about their stolen content.

While evading transit police in their belief transit is for the people, a group of four young men still have time proverbially to smell the roses and remain bros through adversity. While performing to an adoring crowd of teenyboppers, one member of the boy band Boyz B Boyz bucks the trend of what boy bands do for a personal reason not obvious to the other three members of the band. On the on the street game show "I Know Canada!", Conor, the contestant, may want to answer the questions one way but may not feel it appropriate despite the right answers garnering him $10,000. In a high school sex education class which is following recently passed legislation, everything reverts back to the last curriculum developed over twenty years ago in 1998. Three friends find out what a fourth really thinks of them when he sleepwalks, which may or may not be reality. A young man, writing a sensitive entry into his journal, tries to hide what he's doing from a friend, that information which is exposed in a very public way with unintended consequences. In a public service announcement, Torontonians talk about their near-Drake experiences. And a black man in a car has a sense of déjà vu when he's pulled over.

The staff and customers in a bank holdup by masked men hope for a super hero to save them.
