The Rouge Theater which features black box theater has a history of murder. We witness a murder and then jump to ten years later as ride share driver Joseph (Will Rothhaar ) wants to put on a show with small time actress Virginia (Maddisyn Carter) in hopes of a sexual gratification. Joseph is not quite right in the head and the film is filled with talk of people being possessed and killing. Joseph is drawn to the Rouge Theater which everyone wants to avoid.
I was not drawn to the characters like I should have been. Virginia held some promise as someone who watches horror, but that aspect of her left was dropped so we could watch Joseph play with a plastic bag on his head with a boom mike shadow on the ceiling. Dialogue needed some help.
