Fast phased typical story

Yes the story is too fast. There's no build up about Sam (Andrea) and Jake's (Seth) relationship. I think the writer just pushed the 'kilig' ending just to have a 'kilig' ending for the fans. And I have to admit it, I felt the kilig vibe.

And I have to be honest the story is too typical, very predictable. Every twist in the story is very predictable. But this is not a bad movie, it is just the story is so overdone.

Andrea's acting here is great, and it makes sense because she's been acting for a long time. While Seth's acting here is not enough for me especially to his emotional scenes. Regardless, SethDrea's chemistry is undeniably good.

Predictable Storyline

Watching the first 15 minutes of the film, I already know the plot. The storyline is not original and is a typical story that was done over and over again. There was nothing new about it. Very disappointed and I did not enjoy it. A waste of great talents such as Carmina Villaroel.

Well, it took a while before I gave in and watch this movie in iWantPH since the plot for me is so overused and most likely I will end up regretting to watch. I was right, typical story and nothing surprising. I felt this was somehow a spin-off of the KathNiel movie, "Crazy Beautiful You", very similar plot. The actors are good but it did not quite make up on how predicable the next scenes will be. It makes sense why this was rated low by movie enthusiasts and some did not bother at all.

The fans of the loveteam featured in the movie will surely watch and love the scenes though.

recycled storyline, too cliché

The plot is too predictable. i can almost tell what's gonna happen next. I've watched too many chick flicks that this movie almost bore me to death. the storyline reminded me so much of Bring it On all or nothing, Wildchild and other movies with Rich-girl-meets-poor-boy kind of set up.

As for the characters, they didnt offer me something new to look forward to. I had to remind myself constantly that it is WLL and not Kadenang Ginto. It's as if Marga and Mikoy in an Alternate Universe so there's really no change of acting from their iconic Kadenang Ginto characters. So it didnt really pull me into the blackhole of their fandom.

Wild and New Take on Love and Money.

Wild Little Love were one of the films by Director Benedict Mique, together with ML, Momol Nights and Two Love You. It features one of ABSCBN's "The Gold Squad" love teams. At first look, Wild Little Love is just your typical teen romance comedy with nothing but tweetums and hyped up conversations to afloat the story, but watching it you are definitely in for a wild surprise!

The love story of Jake and Sam is the center of the film, as they fell in love, layers of ideas were conveyed, although the scenes were too leading to what is next, what makes it special is a well-crafted script, it was mind blowing, of how an over-used backbone could be so fresh and vibrant! it was the weapon of the movie.

The performance of the teen actors who played Jake(Seth Fedelin) and Sam(Andrea Brillantes) were impressive for a first movie team up. They were both successful in giving' their characters depth and fortitude, their scenes and delivery are what memorable movies are made of.

Wild Little Love is not little, it has substance that would feed both the hearts and minds of the target audience. Its a pleasant, enjoyable and clever movie.

Wild in a Good Way!

No Philippine local teen film has caught my attention lately than that of Benedict Mique's Wild Little Love. The first movie team up of Seth Fedelin and Andrea Brillantes.

The location was picked for a reason, to make the movie relatable, and this objective was well achieved! Despite of an over-used "map" it took an astonishing new turn.

The love story of Jake and Sam, was shortly depicted but was clear and evident on their scenes together, their conversations will give you "butterflies" but at the same time, touching and mature, it makes Seth and Andrea's love team skipped that "tweetums stage" and it gives the film so much uniqueness and character. Their performances were very good, Sam is misunderstood, but strong and determined all were shown by Andrea's portrayal. Jake was street smart, down to earth, but with a good attitude brought about by his Father, all evident in Seth's eyes. The supporting characters are also note worthy.

In the end, all were given resolutions and just the right scene that leaves you wanting and looking forward for more.

The movie is a perfect romantic

There's something magical, fascinating and exceptional in how Benedict Mique's WILD LITTLE LOVE delivers its teenage romantic tale. As it unfolds, the very first SETHDREA digital movie together on iWant.

As the Director mentioned during the movie's press conference, it is a trope that has been recycled over and over again. But, he exceeded more my expectations. He engaged us every step of the way. The choice of location was also perfect - Quiapo. He ensures that the characters are fully immersed and portrayal of the role is very realistic.

If we will only based on the trailer, you can really say that this is another cliché love story, that as expected, the two main leads will end up happily together despite of their differences. We might think that this is another typical movie but am telling you, this is exactly the right kind of movie for all ages.

Wild rich girl meets poor chick boy.

This movie is not a typical "mahirap-mayaman" tandem love story. The movie tackles not only the 'kilig' but also a life lesson that everyone can relate to. It has a great story in it with great acting that surrounds the entire film. From the main leads to supporting roles.

Every rebellious child has a back story to tell.

To Sam, she screw everything up because her parents, especially her dad, made her feel unimportant.

By this scene, I really can't help not to cry because the 'father-daughter' heartfelt reconciliation moment is one of the best scenes you don't want to miss out.

Let's talk about Andrea Brillantes' acting prowess. Well, never doubted the talent and skills of this very beautiful lady. She wouldn't be tagged as THE Young Veteran Actress for nothing. This girl always proves how great of an actress she really is and that, she will never disappoint us. Versatility at its finest. She can portray any roles effortlessly. Everyone knows how good she is especially in drama. She has the capability to make people cry their hearts out. She's only 16 and she'll get better and better as the time goes by. She doesn't even have to try to be on top because SHE is definitely on TOP.

Seth Fedelin, as a newbie, on the other hand, is really promising. He delivers well his lines with sincerity and make audiences feel the romantic excitement and feel in love effortlessly. He is a natural born charmer. His dramatic acting could still use some work but there is great potential there.

Seth and Andrea has a great, undeniable and effortless chemistry. To the fact that, by watching them, you can really feel that flaming charisma within them. These two is really fun to watch as a love team. You can really see that they are very comfortable with each other which made their scenes appear very natural and heartwarming. They bring out the best in each other. No wonder, why the management have decided to pair them up because you won't feel any awkwardness every time they're on screen together. I applaud the bosses for seeing the powerful chemistry of SethDrea and sharing it to the public.

SethDrea's launching movie is one of the testament of how the outstanding tandems can deliver great character portrayal that can entertain, amaze and make audiences feel kilig.

Wild Little Love brings us to that very moment that we first experienced that very strong feeling and make us fall in love all over again.

One of the best part is the fact they have a powerful supporting cast - Carmina, Alfred, Victor, Jin and Criza.

All in all,

Wild Little Love had a very simple story that carried a very positive message. This movie will really move your hearts. It has the key elements that can inspire every individuals.

You will never regret watching this beautiful masterpiece.

Being a fan is the best decision I've ever made in my whole existence.

We're looking forward for their next movie and we are all hoping that it is sooner than we expected.

same ol' same ol' but it works

A rich girl meets a poor boy, definitely not new, but this movie is crafty. It makes you rethink,reminisce, and relate. Even thou you're sure you knew what was going to happen next it glues you until the end. The portrayals were slick and positive, and the delivery of the dialogue somehow makes the tacky lines not so tacky at all.

Wild Little Love premiered on TV and i end up watching it on iwant for the uncut version. These were the kinds of movie where you don't like the story BUT because of its execution you cannot rate it low.

You would not be impressed by the story, but u would be satisfied by the all the other elements of the film. The script, the scenes that would play right on your emotions, the music and the acting, like what i said, it was greatly executed.

The film banked on Seth Fedelins and Andrea Brillantes' chemistry, it was really showcased in the film and it works, plus Andrea's flawless portrayal, she carried the movie in her shoulders.

A little formulaic, but has something new to offer

I am one of the biggest fans of Anndrew Blythe Daguio Gorostiza popularly known as Andrea Brillantes. She can play anything from sweet, to bratty, to scary, to funny, et cetera. In other words, she's versatile.

Here, she didn't only act so well, she also danced, plus so much more.

The actors who played the parents of the lead characters are all younger than me, but they are some of the best in the industry. Carmina Villarroel and Alfred Vargas play Sam(Andrea)'s parents, and Victor Neri plays Joel, the father of Jake.

Speaking of Jake, Andrea's leading man, Seth Fedelin, plays him. Seth is also her partner in the afternoon series called KADENANG GINTO(CHAINS of GOLD or better yet, SHACKLES of GOLD). They have good chemistry, but I think he still has a long way to go. Even so, he is very promising. His voice is not YET anything spectacular, but at least he can carry a tune, and with a few voice lessons, who knows? He might be a great singer one day.

The other supporting characters are good too. Not trying hard. I guess they all underwent workshops.

This movie is not without flaws, but I like it. It's an iWANT original, and if you want to watch is, you should download the app, then register.

I'm not giving it a perfect ten, but because of the great acting, especially by Andrea, I'm giving it an 8.

I honestly thought to skip watching this film because the plot is too common, however Director Benedict Mique has a reputation for making good films, and he did not disappoint. It was common but it was engaging and fun! I feel that the movie gave what it supposed to give... flutter feelings, relatable situations and drama. It works because the movie did not take any risk at all.
