Second episode of "The Big Bang Theory" is another funny one worth watching
tavm2 October 2007
Warning: Spoilers
In a nutshell, Sheldon and Leonard are moving a heavy box into Penny's apartment which they discover is a mess. Sheldon, being a narcissistic clean freak attempts to clean it up but stops when Penny arrives. He later comes back while Penny is asleep with Leonard reluctantly helping. When she finds out, Penny bans them from her place. After talking with the quiet one of their friends, she changes her mind...This was another pretty funny episode of "The Big Bang Theory" that had a hilarious exchange in the beginning between Sheldon and Leonard when, after inviting Penny for a Superman marathon in their apartment, they debate how Superman could or could not logically rescue Lois Lane from a helicopter fall in mid-air. Loved also the physical comedy involving them moving the heavy box up the stairs to Penny's apartment. Well worth viewing between "How I Met Your Mother" and "Two and a Half Men". Hope CBS keeps this one on the air for awhile!

The Big Bran Hypothesis (#1.2)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was pretty fun. The beginning where the guys discuss Superman is hilarious. It is always fun how they interact with each other. Just like at the end where they paid no attention to Penny when she said she will take her clothes off. Sheldon is a bit different from what we know again in that I don't think in later episodes he would be willing to touch somebody elses mess. And he only knocked once when he went to apologize to Penny! But his apology also telling Penny that Leonard is a great lover was hilarious. Just like we already see his inability to understand sarcasm which was hilarious. And Leonard's apology letter to Penny was just hilarious and cute!

The Tidy Apartment

Penny bought a new furniture and asks Leonard if he can receive the delivery for her. He agrees and she gives a copy of her apartment key to him. Leonard and Sheldon find that her apartment is a complete mess. During the night, Sheldon's Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) affects his sleep and sneaks into Penny's apartment to clean and straighten. Leonard misses Sheldon and ends helping him in his task. When Penny discovers that they went to her apartment while she was sleeping, she becomes mad at them.

"The Big Bran Hypothesis" is another funny episode of "The Big Bang Theory". First, with Leonard and Sheldon receiving the heavy package of Penny and needing to carry it to the fourth floor without the out-of-service elevator. Then, Sheldon's OCD is hilarious, needing to straighten out and clean up Penny's apartment to be able to sleep. Last but not the least, Penny furious with Leonard and Sheldon, with Leonard trying to explain her what happened. My vote is eight.

The One With The Messy Apartment...

Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. It's a great follow-up to the Series Premiere, and is just so funny. It's great because we learn more about the characters, about their histories, and quirks, which I love seeing.

In this episode, Penny asks Leonard and Sheldon a favor, to let the furniture delivery man into her apartment, whilst she's at work. Sheldon reluctantly agrees, whilst Leonard is happy that he's even being noticed. When the delivery man comes, he has no way of getting the box up the stairs, and since the elevator is broken, he just leaves it in the capable hands of Sheldon and Leonard. They try to get it up the stairs, and it doesn't go very smoothly. When they take the box into Penny's apartment, Sheldon discovers that she is a slob, and that night he can't sleep because of it, so he goes into her apartment in the middle of the night, and cleans. When Penny wakes up, she is furious, understandably.

Fun Fact: Howard is allergic to peanuts.

Fun Fact: Sheldon has a Master's Degree, and two PhD's.

Fun Fact: Sheldon is allergic to bees.

Fun Fact: The title refers to the cereals that Sheldon has on the top of his fridge, which are sorted by fiber content.

Fun Fact: We see the inside of Penny's apartment for the first time.

Best part of the episode: When Sheldon cleans Penny's apartment.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.

Reminds One of How Good This Show Used To Be
bcrd50025 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has all of the components that made this show fun before the writers ruined the series by making Penny and Leonard a couple.

Watching Leonard awkward attempts to endear himself to Penny and constantly fail is priceless. Another gem is Sheldon at his best with his odd traits.

Penny is a much better character in the early episodes because she does not react well to none of the guys rather than the past couple of years when the writers were laying the groundwork for her marriage to Leonard.

To top off the episode is a little dose of the old creepy Howard along with the Howard/Raj odd relationship, which are never seen in current episode.

Watching the episode reminds the viewer that the show needs to put out to pasture.

Whoops?

When Sheldon knocks on the door to apologize to Penny, he knocks one time without even saying "Penny". Now I'm curious as you when his tic actually starts, or if it's a whoops on production.

Penny the Pig

The boys make a connection with their beautiful neighbor by going into her apartment. Sheldon's impulsiveness is brought to the fore when we come to realize he can't stand any sort of mess. There is a bit of a bonding thing here. Penny could have distanced herself forever, but she picks up on the relative harmlessness of these schmucks.

Another great episodes - sadly with unfortunate conveniences

The nerds make a big deal out of the scientifical inaccuracy of Superman catching the falling Lois Lane who is falling from a skyscraper Sheldon points out that she would have been cut into 3 pieces while superman catches her with his iron arms 2 feet above the ground In fact: He catches her not even half way to the ground with a charming smile and also has time for the helicopter I really like BBT (on my 3rd run), still it often insults movies or claims to know more than it actually does so get your facts straight for the last 4 episodes!

Big Bran

Big Bran é o cereal de Fibra do Sheldon. Ele teve a dúvida se consumia o Big Bran ou Honey Puff (Low Fiber) após a limpeza noturna do apartamento da Penny.
