It's The Weakest Episode Of The Season, But In The Good Way
jigsaw-9115 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This episode of the seventh season of 24 is the most disappointing one so far. My main reason is that this one is just simply a transitional hour, without the rhythm and the so high suspense that defined this day. But is too much acceptable and even great due to a big event happens in this one: Jonas Hodges'dead.

Olivia, who wanted revenge against Hodges orders to kill him. And although she doesn't want to do it in the very last moment, the plan is executed. That is the most interesting part of this episode.

About the rest: excellent performed but low paced in a few moments and without the energy from the most previous episodes. I hope the next will be much better, because I want a perfect close to this season.

8,4/10.

Setting the Fuse
Hitchcoc3 July 2019
This episode focuses on setting up an anonymous Muslim man to take the fall for the whole attack. He lives with his brother and unless he follows orders, his brother will die (not that he wouldn't anyway). The President's daughter calls a it man to kill Jon Voight, but things don't work out. Jack is getting sicker and sicker but is continuing to run point. There is a serious event as the episode closes.

Tony takes the show by storm.

Warning: Spoilers
4:00 a.m.-5:00 a.m.

A young Arab is set up and used by a group of terrorists, including Tony. Jack, Janis and Chloe race to save him and prevent him from his mission. Meanwhile the president's daughter Olivia is seeking to end her vendetta with Jonas once and for all.

The suspense really helped fuel this episode, especially the conflictions between the characters. Tony again proves to be one of television's finest villains showing intelligence and intensity towards the people around him proving once again to be quite a force.

The acting was off the roof on this one, and the pacing was quite splendid.

Only complaint was that things went a bit in your face at times. But I'm fine with that.

Another great hour for Bauer.

7/10.
