a bit of light in this dark tunnel (dvd)

Warning: Spoilers
as i finish 2nd season, it means that i have seen 27 episodes so far and that my « passion » will finish in 19 episodes at least !!!! This new shipment doesn't change my opinion with this show being the poorer, more awful that I have ever watched ! sure Holly stays an incredible actress carrying all the production on her back, there is some improvements but at the end, this show stays particularly hollow with spiritual originality and worse, it's insulting !

Good points : Christina Ricci as a new partner (just 3 episodes from 2.8 to 2.10), the zen episode (2.11), the long expected ending of the Leon character !!

Bad scripts : a bit like X-files after 5 seasons, the shows bores with its soap content : the brothers, sisters, aunt, dads, mums things of the squad are too much !!! Next, when law enforcement and paranormal mixed, we have always the duality evil/good (see X-files, twin peaks, American Gothic). Here, the writer are so dumb that they write only the angel side : with all the blood, violence, crazy things the police deals with, never the question of its origin is asked : it looks like there is only man, angels and god and no devil, demon at all and that's stupid ! For the offenses, i don't understand why a Muslim deals with a Christian Angel and speaks about his colleagues ? I don't like the opening of nearly each episodes with either drunk party or sex fun ! The best offensive is this one I picked up : having a teen kills his mother is horrible ; Grace treats him like a bastard ! And the next scene is about cops faking a suicide and everyone laughs !! very bright, very lack of decency, of compassion ! even monkeys can write better than the ones used in this show !!!
