If you love Hallmark Channel movies and soap operas, chances are you’ve noticed a few familiar faces on the feel-good network. It’s not unusual for soap stars to make the jump to Hallmark flicks, including these seven Bold and The Beautiful cast members who’ve also appeared in Hallmark movies.

Soap opera star Jack Wagner might be best known for playing Frisco Jones on General Hospital. But he’s been part of the cast of several other daytime dramas, including The Bold and The Beautiful, where he played Nick Marone from 2003 to 2012. (He returned for special appearance in 2022 to mark the show’s 35th anniversary.) At Hallmark, he’s starred in the Wedding March series of movies. He also plays Bill Avery on the long-running series When Calls the Heart.

The latter, a 1992 adaptation of the William Wharton novel from writer-director Keith Gordon, features a cast of up-and-coming actors who would eventually become filmmakers themselves, including Ethan Hawke, Peter Berg, Frank Whaley, and Gary Sinise.

The Hallmark Channel is set to host its annual Christmas in July event! The network announced the news in a press release on Thursday, saying, "Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries once again bring the yuletide poolside this July, with the return of the networks' popular summertime Christmas-movie programming events starring fan-favorites Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Holly Robinson Peete, Danica McKellar, Chad Michael Murray, Ryan Paevey and more."
Starting June 29, Hallmark will show three Christmas movies each weeknight. On Fridays, the network will double-feature films from the same franchise, including Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas and Time for You to Come Home for Christmas - which will grace the small screen on July 3 - as well as Christmas in Angels Falls and Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday - which will broadcast on July 10.
