Man can this guy Run!!! The fighting and action scenes are good. I can wonder what the would have done with a real budget.

Great action scenes for the budget

Pretty awesome stuff for a $15k short I must say!

I always review a movie based on budget as well as acting, filming etc and this for a 37 minute short demonstrates some damn good photography and innovative at that - Yes some of the CGI is patchy but who cares? it is a rip roaring rollercoaster of a ride from a relative newcomer to directing and producing and to have made this is quite an accomplishment as it beats most of the rubbish coming out of Hollywood hands down.
I just wish the director had not got the cast and his mum to post the shill 10/10 reviews as they really are not needed as the thing stands on its own and should be reviewed as an action packed, non stop demonstration of what can be done on a low budget with CGI , action sequences and mayhem and for something made on a $15k budget you can only but be impressed.
CGI fire and explosions are hard to accomplish with a low budget but some of the scenes are rather inventive; for example one of the bad guys brings out an Arnold Schwarzenneger style Predator machine gun and lets rip with this portable Mons Meg tearing a car in half which splits in two and flips - very nice indeed - so many good scenes and gore splattering it is hard not to be impressed.
Yes there is zero story , yes there is not much in the way of acting, yes the fight scenes are a bit patchy but for some reason I still loved its non-stop rip roaring action-fest par excellence so I give it a very fair 7/10 for what it is and let us just hope the director gets a chance to make something more and see if he can actually do more with some acting and storyline.

It is an enjoyable ride if you are into action, explosion, fighting, gun fight...
The plot is simple, someone found a cure, bad guy takes it, u get it back. Here comes all the fights, fighter planes, car chase and crashes...
The CGI done not too bad, but it is still recognizable that it is CGI.
Sound effect quite good, the gun sounds, crash sound, slow motion shounds...
Anyway, still fun to watch.

I don't usually like action movies but this one really got me excited with non-stop action - aspecially realistic fight scenes -. In this short movie I can clearly see that you are capable of doing impressive things, I hope we can see more in the future. CGI part on the bridge wasn't perfect so I decided to give 9 stars.
Turkish version of MICHEAL BAY.

I have Mixed feelings, if this movie released 10 years ago then it would be damn good. because it has CHEAP visual effects but still it looks very interesting n really good action sequence.
if they improve some visual effects in this movie, then it would be really great. and im really looking forward for the next part. even its typical more than 1 hour theatrical version.

Give it 37 minutes...

High action on a low budget ... for what it cost, its amazing!!! Its basically a 37 chase/shoot'em up sequence.
If that is what you like, give this a try.
I can't go above a 6.5 as there is minimal plot, acting, dialog, but its action packed basically the whole way through.

Yes, dialogs are not perfect. But I think the movie is focused on action scenes, fighting choreographies etc. for the further projects. People. this short movie's budget is 15k. I'm betting all the budgets spend for this technical things. All the actors and actresses may volunteer the film. So... liked it
Short but so indulging!!!

"The Cure" is not only a fairly famous band, but also the name of this American English-language movie from 2020. This was uploaded on Youtube three months ago and, since then, has scored about half a million views. Not huge, but pretty good still. One reason may be its close connection to current events. well, "close" is maybe a bit exaggerated to be honest, but this 37-minute film is about a man out there to retrieve a mysterious cure and on the road to success, he is dealing with all kinds of heavily armed enemies, also some he did not really expect, namely the ones who gave him the order. But first things first: The director is Ahmet Atalay, so there is slight Turkish (I think) impact here, also at least one Turkish actor. It's not the first filmmaking effort for Atalay, but he is not really prolific either, has worked in all kinds of fields of film production nonetheless, just not on too many projects. The lead actor is Mashood Alam and he is also not extremely experienced either. He played in an Aladdin movie I saw, one that is not entirely unseen, but really only known for how bad it is apparently and his role there was extremely minor anyway, so you could call this film here his breakthrough somehow. Not that this one is really famous or anything, but it seems on the rise. sadly, I cannot really share the praise. It is definitely not bad or anything, but action has never been my favorite genre and this film is almost nothing else unfortunately, hich makes it difficult from my very own personal standpoint to see much in it. I would have liked more/better story. They actually showed that they have the talent for that. The story with his daughter suffering from the virus too is one that honestly felt rushed and not too creative how it was used here, but the final conversation or I should call it a monologue from the old influential fella talking to Noah (I wonder if the biblical reference in terms of him being the world's savior was intentional, probably to some extent at least) is definitely a highlight from this movie for me. There they showed that they could also come up with quality thriller elements, so such a shame that they did not really do so in the 30 minutes before that that mostly consisted of car crashes, explosions and gunfire. If you like that, go for it. Just don't expect much of a story. The best example is actually the female following Noah and they could have done so much more with her to be honest. In terms of her character I mean. She added virtually nothing to the story for me, even if the moment near the end when she almost dies on the street, was not too bad. The fact that she lived also indicates that she may return for a sequel. The ending is really iin a way that there is absolutely zero hesitation for me in saying they very much have a sequel in mind here and it is probably going to happen. This film here seems enough of a success if we take a look at view counts and ratings here on imdb too. Finally, even if I give the movie a thumbs-down and think only action fans should check it out, I must say it was pretty cool in a gimmicky funny way when that big/fat dude approximately in the middle of the movie gets out his automatic gun and starts firing. Kinda iconic even. That would be all then. A cautious negative recommendation here from my side.
great Job with 15000$ budget

As the reviews from who I can only assume are the directors friends and family, point out, it was done on the cheap. Which in their dubious opinions make this a great movie.
Surprisingly I tend to agree on this point but not I presume, for the same reasons...
The only thing that makes this movie in any way entertaining, is the comically low budget action scenes, seemingly shot using scale models & old school camera tricks, reminiscent of the Thunder Birds puppets, that on a few occasions had me in stitches... The truly funniest thing though is it's 7.4 out of 10 rating...
This 'load', does not even stand up as a Tv show. There is no real storey line, so I guess the action is the guts of the thing & it is completely gutless in that respect, so what you have left, when all's said and done. Is a big fat nothing.. I realise this is a harsh critique, but the rating of 7.4 / 10 sets the bar so astronomically out of reach of this crap feast, I felt some balance was required... I mean one reviewer rated it 10/10 & described this turd of a movie as close to perfection.. However I still give it a solid 3 out of 10, purely on the basis that the action shots are so terrible, it's entertaining on a comedic level, & short enough that this offering to the gods of 'slap stick' has not enough time to wear thin...
Just keep in mind, it's 37 minutes of your life you can never get back...
