I loved this challenge because all pieces created were so creative and beautiful! I loved how Patrick chose dandelion, it was so sweet thinking about her daughter. And the idea of making it a flower close up was so creative. Him leaving was very sad, I guess he should be happy it was this competition where the one who left still made a beautiful piece. I actually didn't like Janucz's piece. This one actually reminded me of more generic flower work. But I am sure it was very challenging technique and considering what he did in the past I wouldn't want to see him go either, I kind of root for him. Alex's piece was the best! Definitely deserved to win. Deborah's potatoes were a fun and creative idea. But God I wish I would never hear anything about "marginalized". The more I hear it, the less I want her to win. What is wrong with today's world and everyone's victimhood obsession? If she wins I will see it as political. Maybe she is being smart by knowing that in our society it gives her plus points in a competition.

Botanically, a fruit contains the seeds of a plant. Since potatoes are the swollen underground stem of the plant; as such, it cannot produce seeds, which are produced by flowers above ground. So a Is not really considered a botanical item because it does not produce seeds. I am very surprised that the people who did this competition were not aware of that or why they accepted it?
