More Moon Myth Making
vickik-2649817 March 2021
Completely lacking in any objective summary. One sided leading conclusions for the purpose of relieving suckers of any remaining ability of impartial thought. Aahhhggggg... The only real thought provoking fact is the relationship between the distance and size of the moon and the sun. The key to many an astrological answer.

This "documentary" is horrible.
dcw-6932424 July 2020
Packed full of speculation with no credible evidence cited. It is certainly possible but it sure isn't probable. Don't bother watching. Watch a YouTube video instead. Not that the majority are credible, but at least they would be more entertaining.

They don't even try

Warning: Spoilers
We are told that Apollo 13 repeated an experiment done by Apollo 12 where they fired the LEM ascent stage into the moon setting of a reverberation proving the moon is hollow. Apollo 13... really.... the Apollo mission that never landed on the moon and bought the LEM back to earth because they were living in it at the time. Total garbage.

Garbage
loaded-len27 May 2020
I would say "complete garbage" but I couldn't make it past the 5 minute mark. This is not for critical thinkers.

Twisted Warning: Spoilers
Too many times has the narrator twisted facts to justify his conclusions. Hollow moon? Older than the Earth? Water vapor? Quakes? I cannot recommend this documentary. It's all conspiracy theory. Too much evidence says these things to be not true. Trust in your education of science. Accretion or massive impact is the consensus of the scientific community on how the moon was formed.

Interesting questions raised

A lots of interesting facts and questions raised in this budget documentary. Worth watching though, ignore the poor reviews and make up your own mind.

Save your time

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a believer and this left a terrible taste in my mouth. I couldn't get past one of the very first claims made. It literally made no sense and completely contradicted itself to lead the audience away from the idea. The claim is that the moon cannot be material ejected from the earth because the isotopes match perfectly... Huh? Attempting to wrap my head around that notion is painful. None if the theories they claim to be debunked actually are, at least not by the evidence presented.

Alien Moon
StevenKeys10 June 2020
A well produced, nicely narrated documentary about the possible Alien manufacture of Earth's moon, labeled a natural satellite since the Renaissance, but exhibiting attributes to modern day explorers which may mean a non-natural origin long ago.

New ideas can be unsettling, even frightening to some. If promoting the status quo and honoring traditional beliefs constitute key components of your emotional state and belief system, even in denial of the truth, this film is not for your viewing pleasure or education. But if you are of an open, inquisitive mind, take the hour plus to watch and listen to its compelling case. You'll never look at the moon the same.

Umm... No.
bkylenagle23 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Full of, just, logical errors... such as Apollo 13 sending it's ascent stage back down to crash near a seismic sensor. Apollo 13, didn't make it to the surface, due to critical damage, and had to return to earth with it's lander, because they were surviving in it. I think that was 12 that did that...

He also says that the fact that the moon and earth have identical isotopes, means there is no way they can be the same... what?

Another just...factual error, or severe misunderstandings on this guys physics. "The moon doesn't rotate" ...ok, without getting too technical here. Yes, yes it does in fact rotate. It's phase locked, which is why, during it's orbit, we only see the same side. It's still rotating though. He also claims that it's a perfect circular orbit, which, no, no it's not. There is a thing called a "Super Moon Phenomena" which is when the moon is at it's closest to earth in it's orbit. It's also proven that the moon is steadily moving away from earth, this has been observed and confirmed, by astronomers worldwide. However, in reference to the previous paragraph, is also exactly why the theory of a collision forming the moon, and why it's fully possible it could be low density/porous/hollow, IS A THING!

I'm a believer in UFOs, the possibility the moon could be hollow, or even possibly some sort of station. BUT... The way this guy is trying to spin up a narrative, with No references, other than Isaac Asimov (A writer, not a scientist...) and occasionally, tries to use Sagan quotes to spin some, from what I think is just nutty theory, left... just garbage in my mind. I think this will do more harm than anything, to these theories.

Oh, and at one point, he references that the reptilian overlords controlling society...that was a neat little thing, back when Bush Jr. was in office, and Alex Jones hadn't totally lost his mind. But today, just no.

This shouldn't have been allowed to see the light of day. I saw it on the Unidentified channel on Samsung+. So, it's not like I'm not watching some interesting related things. But, this just made my brain vomit.

Just bad. Avoid.
glenswebber5 June 2021
This thing is so bad you can't even call it a documentary. It's more like a C grade high school YouTube project.

Mindless narration over disjointed stock footage. In the first paragraph of narration they make a factually incorrect statement. Which is how it continues.

Within minutes the writer shows they don't know the difference between a star and a planet. They use a single quote from a science fiction author to prove a scientific theory "false". And so it goes on.

So dumb its actually... well dumb. Avoid.

Very... Slow... Narration... Is... Standard...
xwagner-2699325 February 2021
On crap "documentaries" such as this one. A means of filling time. The bad typography in the titles is fair warning. The producers have nothing to say. This product is void of content. Don't bother.

Paranoid delusions of a nobody
iamMarkPrice25 July 2022
This is not a documentary. This is paranoid stupidity caught on camera.

A parade of nonsense and it of out of context context quotes and outright false statements with the intention of convincing you of conspiracy delusions. The production quality of a low end conspiracy YouTube video to boot.

For some reason he keeps out of context referencing 20th century sci-fi writer Isaac Asimov. Genuine science is never discussed. That should tell you everything you need to know.

This guy would lose his mind if he ever looked through a telescope.

Incredible, ridiculous angry reviews
berg-745326 February 2021
I had to laugh out load when I see angry reviews of this stuff. This seems to me that those angry people were somehow on the fence and went into it thinking this was a real possibility. All I do when comes to nonsense like this is make mental notes of the easiest things to scream BS at. This was done pretty well and it was a masterpiece of how to incorporate real events and people and seamlessly alternate between a quote from Buzz Aldren about the ringing moon and than saying "this is proof" of the hollow moon. Several times when they quoted Carl Sagan, and you can see this yourself if you search with the part of a statement they use, after the bit that supports their theory they then skip the following explanation that makes his actual position clear. The biggest gotcha moment is almost at the end when they quote a FBI/CIA technician who was one of two people to have access to classified documents, pictures and reports and they give his name yet the introduce a guy that is a grunt who goes and gets the photos that prove 250 million aliens live inside the moon. This guy is the other person who as access to this information so his name would be incredibly easy to find out who he is. Either he's a grunt or he is the other person who is authorized access to this stuff he can't be both. The most annoying part of the civilian/military interactions through the last 70years of this stuff always has two things that like with the FBI/CIA technician can't exist together. Either the Government is using sightings as away to brand people nuts so no one takes them seriously or they threaten the lives of the so called witnesses. For either of theses things to be true the military has a set plan so one of these two things would be unnecessary and would actually be more detrimental if both were being used than one of them alone. It's obvious whey people say my life was threatened and it's not because it happened they are trying to use this as proof of credibility and as far as I'm concerned it works the other way it's would have to be the most empty threat ever that's why it's not a boost of credibility, thousands of people say this and apparently all you have to do is go on tv and say I saw a UFO and the military backs off, it's like most of the rest of this is nonsense. Why people would take this seriously enough to write an angry review seems odd and if you thought this was real you have only yourself to blame. Take off the critics hat and enjoy this tiny escape from reality, it's entertaining not educational regardless of the intentions of the people behind it.

For what it is, it's good viewing.
furnacefuneral18 January 2024
So lotsve people in here are obviously getting super-upset that everything they were taught about the moon in elementary school is being challenged by this documentary, with legitimate questions about specific anomalies and abnormalities in, around, and on our moon. I think it's adorable how offended people here are getting about this topic. Yes there is a lot of speculation revolving around (pun intended. Get it? Revolving around? Heh heh) myths of certain cultures, gods, aliens, etc. But imo that adds to the mystique of the moon to me. I've got a degree in anthropology from the University of Washington and am genuinely obsessed with mythology of different culture, so this never bugged me about the documentary. The film itself had a great pace, great production, cinematography, cgi, and a very chill ambient soundtrack. The narrator is very monotone but whatever. I really enjoyed this film.

Um...ok
permanentvacion3 November 2021
I expected a real live documentary but It did not even take me 10 minutes to start screaming BS at the TV over the ridiculous claims made in this so-called documentary. And within a further two minutes I could no longer Stand The narrator's Voice so I chalk it up as a wasted 12 minutes of my life.

Compelling
Suedigger13 March 2023
I wasn't expecting much with this low budget documentary but I was pleasantly surprised. Interesting questions and theories are proposed with evidence to back some of them up. I can see why some would call this documentary silly, but I think that opinion comes from fear that what is presented is actually true. The strangest and most bizarre theories in the past are usually met with ridicule. I loved every minute of this and will probably watch it again because it is filled with a lot of details and photos. Don't believe the negative reviews; watch this for yourself and try to keep an open mind.

Inaccurate, speculative garbage.
nathan_staples28 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This is NOT a documentary, it is an idiotic conspiracy piece done put together by psuedo-science. Stating things as fact that NEVER happened (Apollo 13 did NOT crash the ascent stage of the lander into the surface of the moon). This should NEVER be shouldn't on a Science channel! Only people that think Secrets of Skinwalker ranch is real would believe any of this garbage!

Whoever actually produced this and put it on TV should be absolutely ashamed. And whatever institution gave them any type of degree should not be considered an educational institute! No wonder society is getting dumber by the day!!

danskinner-158958 December 2021
Even the tinfoil hat crowd would find this one far-fetched. Outrageous claims, blurry stock photos, speculation presented as fact and science fiction novels referenced as evidence.

Not orbiting the earth, what? Then what the hell is it orbiting
kdreynoldsno130 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not orbiting the earth, what? Is it orbiting the guy's head?

This guy actually says that because the earth moon bary center is inside the earth, and that means the moon isn't orbiting the earth! Huh, what? If the Earth moon bary center is inside the earth, then guess what? That means the moon is orbiting the earth! This guy is an idiot! Plus, Apollo 13 did not land anything on the moon! This guy needs to read a history book. And a book on astronomy.
