  Emma : [to Rikki]  She's right. It's not like serving ice cream is the hardest job in the world.

  Rikki : [obviously with devilish idea]  But it could be.

• Cleo : Dad, if that person I'm not speaking to right now calls by, can you tell him I'm not speaking to him right now?

  [slices open envelopes in violent emasculating display] 

  Don Sertori : [to Lewis]  I get the feeling she doesn't want to talk to you right now.

  Lewis : Come on, Cleo! I honestly didn't know you lost your job!

  Cleo : [as if to herself, but spitefully directed at Lewis]  It's weird. I hear a strange, whining sound.

  [goes to couch, continues venting her fury on the mail] 

  Lewis : Mr. S, can you tell Cleo that I feel really bad about taking her job?

  Don Sertori : [to Cleo]  Lewis says...

  Cleo : I heard him. Can you please tell him that's not the point?

  Don Sertori : [to Lewis]  Cleo says...

  Lewis : I heard her! And I disagree! You got fired, Cleo!

  Cleo : [gasps for air, tosses the slaughtered envelopes aside]  Well, why don't you rub it in some more, Lewis?

  [storms off]
