Not just this episode, the whole show.

I basically signed up just to write a counter review to another one posted here. I don't care how "believable" it is, it's a tv show from the 2000s for God's sake. It's well written, there's great plot lines for each client as well as great stories for the main characters- who each have their own fantastic personalities to offer.

Regardless of whether or not micheals situation is believable- the entire show works together in a way that is absolutely gripping.

He's not being actively hunted, as we know now the company that burned him is keeping him active in a way, so he wouldn't have outside forces constantly raining down on him, and the story is pretty clear about why he's able to move freely around Miami (but not leave). Maybe it's not how it would work in real life, but there's plenty of explanation given to make the overall story fit, and relatively believable at least within this fantasy world. Isn't that the whole point.

So ya, eat it other reviewer.

Back burner notice
movieman_kev18 July 2011
Nate gets in trouble & Michael has to bail him out again, this time by helping an airport official get under the thumb of Eli, a retired Mossad, and his family business of illegal arms dealings. Michael goes undercover to achieve his goals. Also mike & Nate fight over their dad's car.

This episode had some pretty well-acted interesting bad guys and it was an hour well-spent. But, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, too self-contained. The 'burn notice' plot is falling by the wayside & it's a shame as that's the most intriguing aspect of the show. However Bruce Campbell's Sam character does shine in this episode so it's all good.

My Grade: B-

Just incredible

I don't mean "incredible" as the word is used by airheads who also use the word "fantastic" in the same manner, I mean that this episode makes it impossible for me to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy a fictional tale.

This series, so far, is simply too hard to believe. That the main character can be burned by all the intelligence services in the world, not just those of the US, and still be able to live in a major US city, behaving like an unlicensed private agent of the downtrodden common people is just absurd.

Yes, I know that 'absurd' goes a little further as a descriptive word than 'incredible' does, but it's at least a word that is less likely to be misused. I'll just use 'absurd' from now on to describe this silly series.
