Amsterdam in the hills?

Quite good plot and actors. But the location scout has probably used the budget for other purposes. In Amsterdam all cars have white plates, old police and ambulance are hired. White appartment in Geeman style are not find in Holland. Neither one will find hills in or around the Dutch capital. Very poor work.

Could be better in terms of direction

The plot is there and since it's a true story it's helping, but production is very bad as if shot in mobile. Could be done in a better way and actors are weak.

No spaghetti for ... who?

To be fair, most of us do associate countries with certain things. One of the things you probably associate Italy with is Spaghetti and Pizza (which is kind of funny considering where those things were actually invented, but it only goes to show you, that we sometimes only touch the surface). Another thing we do think of is the mafia.

Cliches that are being put on display here - but they are also being talked about. A good thing then - seeing through things and being able to distinguish. This will not be a philosophical movie though. This is a thriller - and murder (they wrote/commited). Decent enough even if it may fail to really be great overall.

Poor filming

The two head characters acting reasonably but most of the acting is poor, scenes are poor (following a suspect in Germany in an Italian car with Italian numberplate, not shooting at a criminal who is pointing a gun at police, Italian policemen carrying guns in The Netherlands, props are incorrect ( Dutch policemen wearing Belgian police-caps) , etc. Etc. In short; a very amateurish movie.

Lots of mistakes in the movie

The movie would have been better if it weren't so many mistakes. At one point a woman arrives in Amsterdam and walks to a parking garage. Only everything is written in Greek. Uniforms of the Dutch police are incorrect, they wear Belgian police hats. And so many more mistakes.

Not great

Good subject for a film. But unconvincing manuscript and mostly poor acting. Will stay away from this director.

Wrong uniforms

At the end the Dutch police is wearing a very strange uniform, the police cars are the only Dutch thing.

Houses like that are nowhere to be found in the Netherlands.

Good idea, very bad script

The acting is decent, the script is awfull. I would like to see a german cop leaving a conversation in the middle of the day because he has to walk the dog. Also, while they go to arrest the 1 italians they stop at the entrance of the city to talk. What would the IQ be for someone to believe that?

Cheap production

Everything screams out "no budget", from the low-key locations to the banal photography. The "strange couple" of cops has been done a thousand times before, the lead female overacts like crazy as the wife of a "malavitoso" and the only message one gets is that it's better to stay away from Italian restaurants abroad because the owner may be mixed up with criminal organisations.

Bad film

Bad filmmaking, terrible location scouting and lazy production design. There are better movies to watch.
