Unusual, innovative Stormy Daniels feature
This all-girl-sex thriller by (and with) filmmaker Stormy Daniels is an impressive creation, which Wicked Pictures afforded two sequels. It finds the blonde bombshell in the unlikely but juicy role of a Lesbian sexual predator, spending her nights out on the town kidnapping and abusing young women.
It's a testament to Stormy's appeal that she makes such an odd motion picture vehicle not only palatable but quite engrossing. My only quarrel with the finished product is that cinematographers Francois Clousot and her mentor Michael Raven opted for a soft-focus camera style, unfortunately distancing the action.
Though a couple of men pop up in extra roles, including production manager Mark Nicholson, the all-female principal cast is excellent, with a variety of top players including Stormy's fellow Wicked contract star Alektra Blue and uninhibited big names like Jenna Haze and Tory Lane. Stormy informs us in the "Making of" featurette that her main subtext was having her character behave the way men do in picking up girls, with specific scenes taking off on the "offering a ride to damsel with car trouble", "picking up a girl in a bar who's just split from her boyfriend", a casting couch scenario, etc. With larger than life beauty Stormy as the bad guy in each situation, these vignettes play out with fresh vigor.
