I just recently discovered the work of the Estonian animator Chintis Lundgren.

This is the first show I saw from her, but I do wonder if I should have seen "Manivald" first, as Toomas Beneath the Valley of the Wild Wolves is apparently a prequel of that short, explaining how Toomas became such a special kind of plumber.

It was quite fun to watch. I personally liked the simple but stylish character designs. While there is some slight influence from Pritt Parn, it's pretty much its own thing, with a very distinctive aesthetic.

The deadpan voice acting of the protagonist added a lot to the very peculiar humor displayed here.

I do wonder why sometimes fur is depicted as clothing, yet Toomas showers with his own fur and even appears to be naked while still having it, but I guess that detail is just merely following cartoon logic.

A very amusing companion piece for Manivald, which is also a good short.
