There are a couple of intense strains in this episode. To begin with it is subtle. Rebecca, in her current state, has begun to forget things. She is aware that she is losing phones and having to take pictures and write things down. Randall, who has been her anchor along the way after Jack's death, knows her so well and sees that she is starting to break. The scene in the bedroom when they talk, broke my heart. As a pretty old guy, I know that whenever I lose track of something or can't remember a name or a song title, I begin to wonder. Naturally, she makes excuses and denies. It's human. In the second big plot element, we see the further despair in Kevin, who really has everything but is still living in his glory days, ineffectual when the chips are down. The scenes with Nicky and Cassidy are really harsh. The scene in the courtroom is one of the best. It will be interesting to see where things progress from here.
